I'd love to see some MLS and/or US National Team guys kicking in the NFL. It would be good for the profile of soccer in the country and the media loves 2-sport athletes and that buzz would promote the league.

While I realize it's not as easy as it looks (just ask Tony Meola) I can't believe that out of the 200 or so guys in MLS that there aren't at least a couple who have the leg strength and leg speed to kick in the NFL.

I bet a big, strong guy like Joe Cannon or Matt McKeon could do it.

 

Or the perennial power shot winner, Zach Thornton.

 

I think Keller would do a better job with the Cowboys than Friedel. Sorry but it had to be done.

 

I think Meola still has a shot with the Jets.
