Dear Brad, please leave BlackBurn before you get whiplash. Or find yourself in D1. Thx, a concerned Yank fan
You'd like to think it was the latter. Kezman had two chances to make it worse, but one hit the bar and Brad saved the other.
Why is it that everytime a "Yank Abroad" has a string of bad games or something along those lines, people start talking about coming back to MLS?
Blackburn's defenders are just not EPL standard. They haven't been for years. Of course, I haven't seen the highlights, but I'm feeling especially arrogant today, so I'll go ahead and talk out my ass.
Duff's departure was the beginning of the downfall. reeks, because he hasn't been the same since, either.
Unlike some others around here, I don't comment on the performance of players in games I haven't seen.
Don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. (I know, I know, faulty analogy because the weatherman would actually be the one giving the indirect reports. But the point is this -- how much evidence do you need that Blackburn aren't doing well?)
We know they suck. We want to know who to blame. Because obviously whoever is doing this is responsible for making an American look bad. Because they hate our freedoms and you're either with us or against us. Because weakness only encourages those wolves who lurk among us. I'm In The Net,and I approve this message.
you can preach on, as you are completely right. We'll find this out even more when Cisse and Baros run rampant next week.
Blackburn has to have the worst defense in all of England. 8 goals in 2 matches that is horrible.Freidel is the best player on the team he just has no defense at all. That 1-1 draw with Man Utd was because Brad had to save like 8 shots and even then he couldnt get the clean sheet.
I haven't seen the highlights yet, either-- but there's no other way to sugar-coat it... As a group, Blackburn's defenders were crap before Brad got there, they have remained crap while Brad has been there, and they are crap now. And that's regardless of the names or the identities of the names of the defenders playing in front of Brad Friedel. They are just being exposed, big-time. In fact, the great goalkeeping run of form that Friedel had been on since 2002 has really done a lot to bring little attention to the fact that the back line is an area that Blackburn Rovers need to shore up, and fast (as soon as the transfer window opens, that is). Rovers cannot expect to get beaten like a drum like this and to a smilar tune last week, regardless of the echelon of competition they're facing in the Premiership, and expect to stay up for next season. It's that simple, folks.
If someone said after the Man Utd match that Blackburn would be this bad right now not many people would of not beleived it.This defense is worse than some of the League 1 defenses. They have the attacking players to do at least 13th or 14th but, their defense is the problem and this might be a problem Blackburn cant solve. They might get relegated to Championship and some would say this is bad but, it might actually help Blackburn because then they would have the time to fix the problems. Now they have to solve the problems fast really fast the only only good news for Blackburn is the 3 promoted teams are horrible so Blackburn may get lucky but, they do need to buy 2 or 3 defenders this January.
