Friedel is on the bench and Cameron starts. Dempsey and Edu are not in the 18. This one is on Fox Soccer Plus at 10 AM EST.

Hopefully stoke can do their thing and the Spurs offense will utterly fail :D

Is there any info on why Dempsey isn't in the 18? I'm not finding anything.

Cameron is a beast. Pretty fun game to watch too.

Clash of styles, for sure. Might be paciest team v. slowest team.

I'm predicting a 0-0 with the likely winner being those without fsp who don't watch :)

I would also like to lodge my weekly fox soccer complaint. Is there anyone that really wants to watch City-Reading? I know it's slim pickin's this week, but I really don't think there is a market for Chelsea and City here. Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, I get it. But nobody cares about the nuveau riche teams here in the states (I'm discounting the prepubescent frontrunner vote). Tott-Stoke and Wham-Everton look to be better matches.

Completely agree. Even Norwich-WBA would be preferable.

Yeah, Norwich is the new WBA, tough team with a great defense. Houghton doesn't get enough credit. He had a bare bones Birmingham damn close to the bounce back as well. Newcastle have to be looking over there thinking...hmmm, did we make a mistake. Pardew could be in trouble, and that contract is a total albatross.

Kyle Walker is pretty unlikable as well.

Cameron with a terrific run up the right, then centered to Shotton, whose shot was weak.

Cameron looks good. Just had a great tackle and nearly released Jones.

Shotton is pretty useless, isn't he?

Cameron with a nice interception and plays Jones in behind the Spurs defense but called offside, apparently narrowly.

Spurs lively in the attack, though.

Game-winner Dean Whitehead on now! Stoke could nip this. Somehow, I'm pretty unconvinced that Edu is less effective than Whitehead coming off the bench.

    Edit: Whitehead immediately booked.

I have a feeling Edu was caught with Pulis' daughter shortly after arriving in Stoke.

Whitehead, Palacios....no way they are better players. I'm not an Edu apologist either.

For whatever reason, Mo might just not "fit in" at Stoke.

Apparently Geoff came into today's game 5th in the EPL in interceptions and 8th in tackles. He's having a heck of a game today too. If he keeps playing this well for Stoke you've got to think even better teams will be interested in his services because of his incredible versatility.

Shoulda taken Monk's advice and not watched. Oh well - Cameron played well at least.
