    0-1, Dublin.

Header, beat Taylor in the air, Friedel didn't go for it thinking it was going wide--it didn't.

Villa up after two, three minutes.

how much do these matches cost to order in the states.

We have the PPV here as well (West Ham - Liverpool) but i got that as part of a set of 40 matches (was £40 i think). I think they are £5 a piece if you order them single.

Villa - Rovers is just on normal Sky Sports here.

and yes, that was a soft goal to conceed.

$15 a match; some providers offer a month and/or season package for $60/$250, I believe.

WMP works so much better for audio than Real -- so much better today. Earlier the announcers were talking about the incredible conditions -- swirling rain, etc. Couple of mentions of good play by Friedel -- he just had a good save to tip a ball out for a corner.

Dublin with a good finish on friedel's lefthand post from 18 yards out. good low finish.

    its just about halftime now.

    2-0, Dublin again.

Yorke with a terrible giveaway, Dublin gets loads of time and space at the edge of the box, shoots far post...

I'd hardly call either goal soft on Friedel's part.. Both goals were well taken and well out of reach of Big Brad..

The first goal might have looked a bit harsh because Brad didn't dive to save it, but if Yao Ming was in goal, he wouldn't have saved it either.. Dublin headed down into a rain slicked surfaced and it skipped right into the lower right corner of the goal.. No keeper on Earth would have stopped that shot..

    FT, 3-0.

Friedel was injured in a collision with Vassell (feet into Friedel's legs as both were sliding for a ball)--he stayed in, but was unable to take goal kicks.

Hopefully will be healthy for the Sunderland FA Cup replay this week.

I guess Souness needs to buy yet another striker, then.

    whole team crap

Watched this one on PPV. All 11 on Blackburn played terribly. Although the defenders did not mark tightly, the midfield play was particularly bad. Blackburn could not string two passes together, or a pass would go to a player who was well guarded and would then lose the ball. The Rovers also did not take advantage of their few chances on offence either.

At first I thought it was due to the poor field condition, but Villa did not seem to have any problem with it.

Brad did not look dominating. At least two of his saves bounced off him and could have led to goals.

Maybe they all got drunk last night. Quite an off day. But poor midfield play was the major culprit.
