Brad starts. Arsenal coming off two losses. No Cole or Duff for Rovers. No Vieira or Parlour for the Gunners.
this one is running tape delay on FSW... saturday, october 26th @ 12:00pm est ...and replayed again that night at 11:00pm est.
Come on Arsenal, Come on Brad 1-0 Arsenal Brad makes 20 saves but can't stop one Ljunberg drive. Brad named player of the match, but Arsenal wins. I can hope can't I.
Keller would have made 21 saves And actually, I believe you have to register for Blackburn webcast, but it is free.
According to socceraudio.com, Blackburn is part of the World Wide deal. And they also report that the free loop hole to listen to the matches has been closed. Time to pony up some some cash, I guess.
1-1, at the half. Edu with a late equalizer. At the half, text comm has Friedel making a couple of saves on Wiltord, one on Henry from close range, and one on Freddie.
A bit of detail on each goal for those interested: 1507: Arsenal 0-1 Blackburn Dwight Yorke cuts the ball across towards Egil Ostenstad... and Edu inexplicably turns the ball into his own net. 1547: Arsenal 1-1 Blackburn Arsenal's pressure finally pays off as Edu makes amends for his earlier own goal with the equaliser, a free-kick which goes in off the far post.
1610: Arsenal 1-2 Blackburn Blackburn break away and Egil Ostenstad feeds Dwight Yorke to restore Rovers' lead.
Apparently, right after Blackburn took the lead again, Arsenal nearly equalized. Header from Sol Campbell tipped around the post by a very nice, low Friedel save.
Watching the game, and all I have to say is.... Wow. Freddie's hair. Jawdropping. Looks like cotton candy.
OUTSTANDING watched the game on tv and the commentator said that Brad Friedel is out of this earth... saved 12 shots by Arsenal's 13 shots on goal...
On Fox World Espanol the commentators finished the match referring to Freidel as 'superman' and 'San Friedel'!
