Well, today's news is full of the wage discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. women. A CNN article even captures tweets by Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. As it is only tangentially related to MLS, I've not posted any articles. But, I imagine there is going to be some interesting debate.

Yes. April 1st. The day I pretty much ignore anything on the internet. Even MLSSoccer.com is in on the act. I looked at the standings and they have the Union in second place.....
This had me going for an embarrassingly long time. http://www.orlandocitysc.com/post/2...ons-only-dating-website-exclusively-city-fans
Philly should be relegated just for this. In other news I made the bench as a backup central defender for the Red Bulls tonight.
There will be very little interesting debate. Just taking the Bernie and Hillary tweets, its called pandering. Facts of the two really don't matter.

The funny thing about these Caribou jerseys is that at the time (I was in Dallas), we thought they were odd, but didn't really think much more about it. Although we did wonder if the fringe would be distracting as you ran. Of course, this is the decade that gave us bell-bottom/flared pants, leisure suits, and hair.....big, big hair; so I guess we were prepared for almost anything. EDIT: Oh, and mood rings and pet rocks.

Not MLS but it does have soccer in it (click the weird looking icon at the bottom and you'll understand):
Reading between the lines, it seems like they feel that a big reason teams in the past failed is that they didn't promote well enough among the Latinos, which they plan to do. Oh, and I guess they got an exception to serve alcohol at Kezar. Can't hurt. Still puzzled by the 'Deltas' name. I guess they picked it because it's simple, represents change and the triangle is a common design motif in SF. That's cool, I guess. He's right about one thing, unless your name is truly cringeworthy or offensive, it's not going to make much difference. People support the club, not the perceived quality of the name.
(Insert rolly eyes here) Jeez. You don't even need to click to know what day it is. "OK, Mr 'Oh I could do better than that'," you ask "what brilliant April Fool's headline would you post?" Glad you asked. EPL board agrees to meet after this season to discuss moving away from pro/rel. See. Juuuuuust enough to make you wonder.
I think they're named after the inspiring Delta Smelt. Their mascot will be "Smelly" the Delta Smelt.
