I don't think we have one of these yet.

    What's out lineup?

Well, no Ralph, Williams, Whitfield, CJ doubtful, Mapp questionable. I'm thinking:

    ****Razov Jaqua******

    ********DMB********
    Perez Armas Marsch Mapp

    ***Boca Jimmy Gray****

If Mapp is still out does that mean that Bolanos would be a more likely starter? I guess it would move DaMarcus out to one of the wings and put JB in the spot you have him in. I would assume the lineup would look more like what you have since Dave hasn't given JB that much time on the field yet.

Where has Razov been the last couple games and is he going to show up to play on Friday?

Has he been as ineffective as it seems or am I just not noticing what he does? It seems to me that the only time I notice him is when he has been walking around watching play. What happened to all the nice runs he used to be making off the ball, the constant pressure back on defense, etc.

Friday is also Zach's birthday. And I'm hoping Mapp is ready. CJ hasn't trained in two weeks, and hopes to get back in it this week, so maybe he'll be upgraded or will be available as a sub.

I'm bringing a whole bunch of people for this one.

I'd have to agree with this. He has been doing a lot more complaining and a lot less trying to stay onsides/making great runs than earlier this season. I wish Ante would use his anger to score goals instead of spouting off or giving up easy balls. If he had the ball handling skills of Damani he would be at the top of the scoring charts.

The offense (and Ante) plays better with Mapp in.

Sarachan's tendency when missing key starters has been to stress defense, and he has also stated a preference for the 4-4-2, so I'm inclined to expect a slight revision of your predicted lineup:

    ****Razov Jaqua******

    dmb Armas Marsch Mapp

    Perez Boca Jimmy Gray

    *******Zach*********

...with, maybe Marsch on the right and Pause in the middle if Mapp is still hurt...

of course, the real answer, as we all know, is:

    FUTAGAKI!

After watching me on the field after the game making the last pass to the president of NCC in the fire's pass the ball around the field ceremony, Dave was so impressed he signed me for one game to make up for the loss of Damani ralph. He said it was such a bad pass I would fit right in.

I'm surprised that Sigi didn't make a swoop for your services, then. The Gals had more passes out of bounds than to their teammates.

OK, maybe Sigi doesn't swoop. More like a thud.

Also, the U-20 camp doesn't end until the 9th, so Mapp and Capano, while they'll be training, won't be training with the team. That may be less of a problem for Mapp than for Capano, and it might be a benefit, since they're first-teamers with Rongen's squad.

I could see the 4-4-2, especially considering the larger NSF playing surface. Didn't really think about Pause in for Mapp, good thought.

  13. Zach needs to wear the babyshit yellow keeper's shirt so the Crew are forced to wear black. They have a better record wearing yellow.

An idea of what's at stake Friday, other than the obvious:

So, if Justin Mapp went 79 minutes yesterday in the U-20 friendly, do you think Dave has been keeping out of the lineup by choice?

    Where can I buy a "Razaqua" t-shirt?
    "Do you AnteNate?"

    I assume it will be

Razov & Jacqua starting as forwards, with
Bolaños subbed in for big Nate

    "Razaños?"
