Im wondering why we arent trying new players in the central mid position more. I mean we all know torrado and castro are possible starters, but shouldnt we be using friendlys to find replacements incase they get hurt? Why take a chance in a meaningless friendly before the start of the season. let young kids try and impress. thoughts??\ Sorry new guy here.
Re: Fresh Meet Friendly I think that is the sentiment from many of us here. I'm all for not calling our Europe based players for our next couple of games and fielding players that might have a good shot at being subs for the Europe players.... and who knows they might even be better options. But these guys have to be young, no sense in calling people that are probably going to retire from NT by 2014 or people that are too old and slow to even consider for NT. Players like Torres Nilo should be getting 90 minutes in the next couple of games.

Re: Fresh Meet Friendly Torresnilo should be given 90 minutes, as soon as the ban is over Jona and Fabian will be rotated in. I'm sure Chepo will bring in more guys as the season goes on. So far he has had a pretty good eye for talent. I had never heard of Oribe before the game but he looked pretty good... All over you Michael Bradley!
Re: Fresh Meet Friendly I definitely agree. Torrado is on the wrong side of 30 and Castro, well he does his job but he doesn't stand above and beyond his position as we would like. I would definitely like a great CM to come out of nowhere like Wilshere did, or like how fast Chicharito progressed.

I think chepo should blen in the central midfield. He has a shot replace torrado. Reyes is by far the best young mid we have in the oven.
I like the height we got coming up the ranks, has there ever been a Mexican team with this height potential? Our attack transition is complete Bravo, Borgetti, Kikin etc are gone defense is half complete. Now its time to fix our CM's. I like Reyes, once he bulks up and gets more experience he will be good. Hopefully he performs well in the U20 and goes to Europe, we're lacking a European quality CM pairing.
