Frenchman who sputtered in Italy

Wenger has the Midas touch when it comes to finding the French talent languishing in Italy. Vieria and Henry have to be two of the greatest buys in the club's history. I wonder what ever happened to Stephane Dalmat. He's a very physical and crafty attacker at Inter who we were linked with last season, and I know he's been riding the bench since Emre has come on.

Michaec has a good point: any off season funds need to be directed to the pot labeled "defense." After AW performs surgery on the back line, I wouldn't mind seeing an attacking mid come in. Maybe I'm getting greedy, but if the back line is improved I'm not sure we need two defensive mids (Viera + Gilbero) to shield them.
