Is Ligue 1 easy to watch on P2P? I really need to find the best way to watch Caen games as I can. Living in a dorm, I cannot purchase satellite.

Yeah, its pretty easy. One problem is that most commentators speak Chinese.

You should be able to. The quality isn't always good, but at least your seeing Ligue 1. I can post the links for streaming the matches during the season if you want.

I bumped that and let's hope we get some answers now.

This is a REALLY big deal. I don't know why more people here aren't asking the same question.

Let's hope to god, Sentanta haven't gotten rid of it for upcoming year. I'll send Setanta an email asking the same thing just to make sure.

    Setanta is the best!
They have EPL, Lower English Leagues,
Carling Cup, Scottish Prem, Ligue 1, Dutch, and Champions League.

PLUS tons of Rugby Union and Rugby League AND Gaelic games!

    Yeh that's right.

FSC didn't appreciate French football enough.

Don't know if Sentanta does and knows its true value but for now, we have it on their channel (which has better coverage of it than FSC did) for at least one more year, so that's good enough for me. :)

After this upcoming season though, we'll have to wait and see if Setanta extends the contract of if Ligue 1 goes to another channel like GOLTV or FSC because I thought I had read that the Setanta + Ligue 1 coverage was an initial 2 year contract. Not sure about that though, so don't just take my word for it.

But hopefully, after this year, it'll get extended or another channel we have access to will get the rights, but at least for NOW, we've got nothing to worry about. :)

Troyes played some very good football last year.

One of the more entertaining sides.

I certainly don't mind watching lower teams play as I enjoy maintaining and adding to my knowledge level from all teams and players, even the bench players of the likes of Le Mans and Troyes, most of whom I already am well aware of weaknesses and strenghs of.

I'm one of the few people who would be very much AGAINST seeing matches ONLY from the top clubs regardless of which league it is.

I want to see Sheff Utd vs. Watford matches and Troyes vs. Le Mans as much as I want to see Lyon vs. OM and Chelsea vs. Man U.

So if Setanta is gonna show some lower teams play as well, if anything, that'd make me happier than showing us OM and OL every week.
