That would make sense and if they win, it will create huge problem for Le Havre as players have signed there to play in D1 not in D2.

We need some international NT match soon, to transfer this Kumagai's scoring frenzy to Nadeshiko Japan!!!
The table and surprise OL are not top of the League. This normaly don't take long to get back to normal though. #D1Arkema #OLPFC C'est terminé 4-0 !@OLfeminin co-leader avec @hacfem à l'issue de la première journée pic.twitter.com/0O5g5NKyLT— footofeminin (@footofeminin) September 6, 2020 Goalscorer table #D1Arkema J1 - Classement des buteuses pic.twitter.com/t1vxIvHNcf— footofeminin (@footofeminin) September 6, 2020 Assists table #D1Arkema - J1 : passeuses pic.twitter.com/O5zBySpfOg— footofeminin (@footofeminin) September 6, 2020
All of the goals (including those from the 0-0 draw ): I just can't believe that Bordeaux, after leading by 4-1 with a Bunny Shaw's brace, managed to let Estade de Reims catch up with them on 4-4 at 91'! They can be an exciting team, but it will lead to nowhere as long as they keep wasting matches like this.
she was the shooter for a long time too. she may be the only player to shoot the winning PK in both UCL et WC finals.
Watching Bordeaux v Reims Highlights we can clearly see young Bordeaux goalkeeper Romane Bruneau had a very bad day.
Not sure about the U.S.(?) Some games are listed with overseas TV coverage in African countries and Denmark, maybe Scandinavia... Still 0-0 at half-time in Bordeaux v PSG. You need to find streams or buy a Canal + subscription online, but they ask you to pay with a French bank account.
Watching Reims - OL (0-3) made me less surprised about SR's 4-4 draw against the Girondines; they can really play football. Able to hold onto the ball (and willing to do so, which many sides don't against Lyon), fluid, fairly skillful; they played "sans complexes" that is with a certain self-assurance - I watched a few games of the NWSL Challenge Cup and never saw that kind of polish. They didn't get a lot of looks at goal but it was a big field (men's stadium) and their only glaring weak point was, as always when you get down the table, conditioning and endurance. A pity they're without Naomie Feller right now.
And surprise, surprise, Lyon are back at the top of League after matchday 2. FC Fleury and Montpellier are also in the Champions League places. PSG are 4th, Paris FC fifth and Bordeaux in ninth positions, thye need to start winning games. #D1Arkema @OLfeminin déjà seul leader après deux journées pic.twitter.com/ZixOsnfvPP— footofeminin (@footofeminin) September 13, 2020 Goalscoring and assists leaders: #D1Arkema J2Diani reste seule en tête des buteuses pic.twitter.com/OZGu6qUJ3d— footofeminin (@footofeminin) September 13, 2020
I had missed (or forgotten) these news: quite sad. She was brilliant, both at Reims and during her short stint at OL.
Troubles on the horizon in D1 and D2 Feminine with a strike threat from the amateur teams who are fighting against the professional teams. Last Summer due to the Covid-19 pandemic the men's League organisation (Ligue de Football Professionelle) exceptionally allocated 6 Millions Euros to women's football as a share of the new tv contracts for men's football with Mediapro. 5.1M were given to the D1 Arkema teams and 0.9M to the D2 teams. You would expect the money to be split equally between teams? Well no. Most of the money went to the professional men clubs who have a women team as requested by the newly formed Association pour le football professionel feminin AFPF. The two amateurs team from D1 Arkema got around 175 000 euros each, while the ten professional teams all received around 500 000. In D2 the remaining 900 000 were split between all the men team with a women team, they all received around 80 000 euros, while all the D2 amateurs team got nada. The amateur teams from D1 and D2 want more money while the AFPF says the money comes from the LFP and therefore should go to pro clubs. So potential strike threat on the horizon.
