According to some sources Lyon will prep for new season (or posponed UWCL - last rumours has it moved as late as Oct/Nov) in camp held in Poland in July. There is talk about scheldule for a couple of friendly matches with Górnik Łęczna and Medyk Konin.

Just the 2018/19 season that saw the team do the treble and then promply sack the coach as he was not good enough.

What's up with Lyon and Bronze? Is the player looking for a change of scenery? I can't imagine that Lyon wouldn't try to keep her. Is her contract up?

yes her contract is up. And I think she wants to go back to England to get close to her partner as well.

Read that Marozsan just signed a new 3 year contract with Lyon. Can’t blame her as Utah’s been so slow in reacting to anything; they can’t even get star. Christen Press to the practice field

Lucy Bronze tweeted that she’s looking forward to playing in the CL tourney(so it means she’ll at least stay temp for Lyon)

Ada Hegerberg was seen practicing with the squad(so possibly ready for the CL)

in the con side, UEFA announced teams cannot use their new signees for the upcoming CL tourney(so no Ellie Carpenter or SGD). That’s in part good news though for Lyon since 1st game opponent Bayern Munich wouldn’t be allowed to use the two top German fwds they just signed, Buhl & Schuller. Without them they seem a little weak on top

Utah cannot do much if Donald Trump totally mess up the Covid-19 response and scare players enough for them to change thier mind.

Yeah this isn't on Utah at all. They haven't been slow for anything, they've been one of the MOST active NWSL teams these past few months what with organizing the Challenge Cup and all. Press is just one of the worst USWNT divas. Remember how she flat out refused to play for Houston? The Lyon players themselves explicitly said that the Utah deal fell through because of COVID issues.

Bordeaux who were the surprise team of the league with their 3rd place finnish over Montpelier, now loosing a couple of big stars; French NT star & actual leading scorer on the squad, Viviane Asseyi, has signed with Bayern Munich

one of the best GK's in the world, Erin Naylor, leaves as well
Viviane, Erin, Kathellen, Mylaine, Camille, Emelyne… Thank you! | Girondins.co

and then remembering, Tarrieu, as a very fast & talented winger on some of France's youth NT's

os kinda surprised cuz fBordeaux is one of those clubs that upped it's budget the last few years/ Asseyi's move don't make too much sense(other than money( BM still hasn't yet secured 2nd place(thus an CL spot) in the Bundesliga, has allready signed for next season, two of Germany's best fwds in Buhl & Schuller(so her playing time might be very limited)

It's a big blow, but if they manage to keep Sarr and especially Shaw, I guess Bordeaux could keep being in good shape in the FW department.

Let's hope though, that this isn't instead the beginning of a snowballing process of dismantling.

Well so far they have signed:
Eve Perisset the France right-back, Julie Dufour the France U20 outstading midfielder at Euro U-19 last year and Mickaella Cardia a promising France youth forward.

Asseyi is far from irreplaceable - she's just strong: not as fast as once she was, and with a crippling lack of skills. To me her good 2018-19 stats are mostly down to Girondines just getting the ball in front of goal a whole lot and as always with her, a dollop of blind luck. Sarr I’m not big on but Julie Dufour is very promising. And Shaw is gold-plated dynamite, just needs to learn the offside rule.

Poor Mylaine Tarrieu at one point was ahead of Cascarino on the OL academy conveyor belt but has never stayed healthy long enough to develop. I think she’s through.

Will Emelyne Laurent be re-loaned by Lyon a third time ? Maybe not but they’re going to loan someone out from their huge reserve of strikers and as likely as not to Bordeaux who knows how to give them useful experience.

“Kathellen Sousa” and “sorely missed” in the same sentence? whatever.

Nayler was really good on her line, but she had a grade school kicking game. Romane Bruneau took over the top spot about November and that’s probably who FCGB is counting on, though their FO has been so proactive these past couple of years I can’t see them standing pat on any of these five departures. And any mercato that starts by picking up Eve Périsset is definitely ambitious.

Karchaoui for one season only as Bacha might be fully ready to spread her wings. That's why Lyon got Simon, Greenwood and now Karchaoui just warming up the hot seat for her.

Karchaoui for one season only, as Eriksson and Harder contracts end next year. I see it more like this.
