Griezmann off. He scored two goals in the first half. I really wanted him to get a hat trick (he almost did on a few occasions today) but it's better for him to have some rest before Wednesday.

I'm so happy to see how well he's doing this season (not surprised though). He is Atleti's best player this season by far and one of the best players in la Liga this season. 20 goals so far!!!

(one of the goals from today, reminds me of his goal against Lyon while he was at Sociedad)

    What a player. :inlove::inlove::inlove:

Griezmann subbed off. Simeone is an idiot.

Out of all the players to remove.

And the guy Simeone brought on for Griez just got a yellow for a nasty (intentional) foul on Varane.

Good game by Varane so far btw

So Benzema and Varane's side go through (Benzema was out due to injury though).

To be honest, Simeone deserve to get knocked out after his dumbass tactics. Taking Griezmann off and hoping for ET and penalty kicks is ridiculous. Plus, Griezmann is one of the only Atleti players to have scored his penalty kick in the round of 16 shootout.

His tactics are really unappealing once you really look at them. He essentially took of Griezmann because Griezmann is an excellent football player and not a kung fu master. Minutes later, Raul Garcia gets a yellow card and then Arda Turan gets his second yellow and is sent off.

Griezmann should go to a team that plays actual football instead of just trying to suffocate the opponent.

Omg Griezmann scores his 21st goal in la Liga (none from pens)

I can't believe how underrated he still is. Best French player all season by a landslide

    Griezmann again lol 3-0

He is making it look too easy. This kid will be one of the best players in the world.

22 goals in La Liga. What a huge huge accomplishment

I want him in Paris so so so badly!!!

Apparently Griezmann also made history today by now being the French player who has scored the most goals in one season in La Liga.

@StarrMatthieu, he made it 22 goals with 2 goals today! Not a single one of his goals is from a penalty. It's truly impressive. He will be one of the EDF's best players ever. I've said that for a long time and I still believe it. :)

There is nothing I wouldn't do to get him to PSG. Seeing him in a PSG shirt would be so amazing. :inlove:

Hard to deny them when coaches like Herve Renard, Claude LeRoy, Etc have had success there lol.

Griezmann playing really well against Bilbao. He scored a goal earlier that was ruled offside, but I think it was the wrong call (commentators seem to agree).

Good performance so far from Laporte. Apparently it's his 100th appearance despite only being 20 years old!

He's a good bench option for France. Nothing more. He's too small and only scores as a sub. ;)

Oh yes, 22 goals in la Liga and its his "cuteness" that stands out the most.

Sure he's attractive, but there are tons of guys I find attractive enough. If I were to value players based on their looks, I'd be too busy watching Giroud to ever watch Griezmann ever again.

Yeah. Griezmann is too small. So are Messi, Xavi, Ribery and Lahm.
