    depends on the season
Come on, come on! The game is going to start now, where's all the talking going on at? I guess those at the game are around and tv is tape delayed- but still!

Mia played 60 minutes in the Atlanta game. Siri and Abby did not play (Abbs didn't even make the roster ($%&(^#@!@%) but that's ok at least she'll be fresh.

CP played the entire game as the Bri (though she wasn't challenged.

I see Mia and CP coming in late second half as subs if they are feeling up to it- I'd be surprised to see them start. But who knows!?!? : )

Well, talk to you all soon and GOOOO FREEDOM!

By the way, wasn't that WNT game fun? I loved the fact that we were (especially in half 1) posssessing the ball. Possessional soccer is real soccer- makes the game so viewable.

Take care and happy soccer saturday!

0-0 right now. Apparently the Beat are playing better than Freedom right now. Mia needs to be in there. I have a feeling Maribel Dominquez is gonna get one past Siri in the second half.

    I hope she won't. :)
Mia played 63 minutes against Canada. I think she can make up the missing 27 minutes against the Beat an score one or two goals. She didn't score against Canada so she owes her fans at least one. :D

And Maribel makes it 1-0 in the 68th minute.

And Goliwhatever ties it up seconds afterwards.

This is her last match in the league. She will be an assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh starting next month.

Good match. Not a win, but not a loss, either. That extends out no loss streak to 14, doesn't it? It's a point and we're still in first. Still undefeated this year.

    Great job, ladies!!

Very good game considering we were missing a lot of our attacking players and a lot of our defending players were playing hurt. I was very nervous about this game considering what Atlanta had been doing to teams, but I think this shows that we're a team to be reckoned with.

    A paid crowd of 5,693.

To say that I am pissed off would be an understatement.

Well, that was a good game. The speed of play was great.

    My 5 favorite moments:

    5. Maribel's goal....WHAT?! She's on my Fantasy League team.

    4. When Beth was talking about the stoppage time goal scored by Pu last year."They didn't do it the hard way, the didn't do it the easy way, the did it the Pu Wei." LMAO. It was so incredibly stupid that it was funny.

    3. When Mia tripped over Maribel Dominguez and the Maribel kicked her. And then Mia turned around and glared at her and looked like she was gonna hit her. And the ref was grinning, LOL. But I what I found most amusing was the fact that I could just picture M9 saying: "I'ma cut that bitch!"

    2. It was a Beat chance in the second half, sometime after Mia came in because it happened right before Maribel tripped her. Homare Sawa fell down in the box when she took a shot and the ball popped back out to Maribel. Well, Homare is getting up with her ass in the air and Maribel cracks a shot and hits her right on the buttocks and knocked her back down. I nearly pissed on myself I was laughing so hard. It was absolutely hilarious. :D

    1. And the best moment of the game: SIRI'S PK SAVE! Reconize! That was great. Oh yeah, and I just read that Siri loves to hate the Yankees. WAR SIRI!

    That's all?!

Well, you have to give them their props. They were very loud. So loud that I would have guessed there another 3,000 people there.

They were loud and squeally. "Meeeeeeaaaa. Freeeeeedoooom. Aaaaaaaaaaaah."

LOL, it cracks me up when they just scream "aaaaaaaaah"

    Interesting note:

Goff quotes 5,693 for the US game.
Straus quotes 6,222 for the Freedom game.

Hmmm. A couple of forgotten rats?

For what it's worth, it was absolutely pouring down when I was getting ready to head out. On the other hand, not a drop of rain fell during either game. Still, I was hoping for something into five figures.

The croud was awesome at yesterdays game! Easily sounded, to me, like there were 10,000, i think it had to do with the game. Atlanta fully pissed me off yesterday. You cant see it on tv, but they literally when the ref wasnt watching, grabbed abby and threw her to the ground! And im dead serious about that cause i saw them do it like 3 times!
the ref was UNBELIEVABLY horrible, ive never ever in my life been to a worst reffed game ever. he called jack sh!t the entire game, and thats why i think the croud was so loud! I heard lots of "give me 5 bucks, ill go buy you some glasses"

Mia was talkin to everyone the whole game, she talked to teh ref, tom stone, and the side line refs all the time :)

That was a great game. The quality of play from both teams was quite good. I can't believe only 5,000 people showed up. They were so loud. Maribel's goal was pretty good. Great save by Siri on the PK but it wasn't the best of kicks. Joke by Mowins was bad. Kelly's goal was excellent. I saw some hard hitting from both teams. Especially during one sequence in the second half. I thought the ref was just playing the advantage. Gerardo had some good passes and at least one shot. Too bad. It would have been great if she had scored. Yes, despite being a Charge fan I can still say nice things about her. On the other hand, about the Beat...
