another example of how the government and judiciary is just way out of control.... http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...e=3&u=/ap/20041204/ap_on_re_us/wine_shipments http://www.freethegrapes.org/
I agree--why aren't we throwing these people who drink wine from Virginia in jail, where they belong?!?! I mean, I'm not a wine snob but . . . Virginian wine?!?!?! What's next, Nevadan whiskey?
A sure sign of someone who knows little about the judiciary is when they belittle cases involving the Commerce Clause.
Obviously bojendyk is underage and has never tasted wine, much less the far superior Virginia wine from grape vines that George Washington himself raised!
IntheNet, I was just wondering if you've ever seen that episode of Seinfeld where Elaine keeps using exclamation points where they're not necessary? Just a thought, Continue with the grapes.....
Yeah, that's it. I'm underage and have thus never had the pleasure of sampling that fine, fine Virginia wine. I hear that the strawberry flavor is delightful!
actually Virginian wine is pretty good, on the average its better then your "table" european wines.. which in truth are disgusting grape flavored gas. On average US wines (not just Cali wines) are vastly superior to European wines. The Europeans only do the posh expensive stuff better. and suprisinlgy.. even Illinois is quickly making strides in the wine industry. There are actually some quality wineries poping up in places like Kane and DeKalb counties
I've read somewhere (I can't remember where) that there are winerys in all 50 states. Anybody heard this?
Yeh, I recall there were recently some folks from Illinois out here in California looking at some of the vineyards up in Napa County. There were trying to figure out which side of the row on which to put the cow manure. I believe they realized eventually that it should go on the uphill side - a sure sign they will be making world-class wines soon.
