    :D

    At Villanova, that is...

    3/16 (Sunday) vs. Maryland, noon
    3/25 (Tuesday) vs. U.S. Under-19 team, 1PM

Kind of a bummer about the weekday game; probably will miss that.

    Rubbish! :D

Game lasts probably an hour and a half; the women's selection show is at 5, the men's at 6:30. Plenty of time to do both :)

    Selection for what?

I'm kind of excited about the Tuesday game, though I'm not sure why, other than I can make it. Does that mean it'll be up to me to give an eyewitness account?

Even better, does this mean it'll be a normal match and not one that's a sideshow for the hip-hop music show over the cruddy 'Nova Stadium sound system?

    I can only hope.

penn better not lose to brown, reports I heard had the refs doing a number on them last weekend...

I'll make both matches, even the tuesday, unless and emergency requires my presense at work.

emergencies are generally thursday or fridays when reports are due, and analysis has yet to progress very far.

I was at that game, as I have been at every Penn home game this season (2nd row of the chairback student section, baby).

It was the single worst-reffed Ivy game I've yet seen, and by more than a few accounts the worst-reffed Ivy game of the entire year. And the bad calls went both ways. Glen Miller (Brown's coach) was just pissed off because his team didn't score in the last five minutes of the game. :D

sounds like Mr. Barrett, the Jamaican ref who did USA-Guatemala qualifying match at RFK for WC'98...

If the leg ain't a compound fracture, then there's no foul...

and then there's the other extreme, where NO contact is permitted..

now if only PEnn could get mustafa shakur to change his mind and want to go to wharton instead of arizona..

cachundo, the stanford fan he is will not like his guys getting to face shakur....

jason kidd...need we say more when talking shakur.
