Since there won't be a 2003 MLS calendar available commercially, JMMUSA08 produced his own. It can be downloaded for free. It takes about 5 minutes with a 56k modem, and it's very well done. Simply copy and paste this url into your browser http://www.angelfire.com/ma4/nerevs/MLSCalendar.zip (*Note. Directly clicking on the link wont work, it will bring you to an angelfire page where it says it doesnt allow offsite downloading) This was discussed in another thread, https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25191 , but I thought more people would see it if we started a new one.
Gee, I don't recall giving JMM permission to use my pictures... please take them down immediately...??
aparently a lot ofpeople downloaded that thing... i couldn't because of bandwidth problems in th page...
Im sorry Tony for any misunderstanding, im just doing a good cause for MLS fans by supplying a free MLS Calendar. No money is being made, no soccer balls harmed.
This can get into the debate on what is "fair use" of copyrighted (if it is copyr'ed) material. Maybe this can be redone using generally-distributed pictures, like last years players-of-the-week pictures that were to be used for your computer's wallpaper.
Updated the calendar, it's still free. Im debating with myself to make team calendars, but then come across the problem of bandwidth. I'll figure something out. Just let me know, IM me on AIM, or send me an email if any of you have ideas.
Free 2003 Revolution Calendar I made a Revs calendar in Word: I put the Rev's schedule in the calendar, too. Download it at: http://nerevs.com/calendar.html or http://angelfire.com/ma2/nerevs/calendar.html I have 3GB Bandwidth so I think it should be enough. Let me know if you have any problems.
You could create another Angelfire site and upload it to both. Then you could put a link to both on your site and have 2 possible download sites incase of bandwidth problems or if you want I could upload it and you could link to that on your site as a second option, too.
Damn fine job JMM. Good choice of May for the Fire (my birth month). Looks pretty good. November might have to go up during the months of June and December as well.
