The thing that has struck me the most about Freddy's goal is when it happened. So many times during his first two years, when he has started, Nowak has subbed him out around the 70th minute--much like he does with Gomez. This has always made me question Freddy's fitness--I know, as he matures, his fitness level will increase. However, the fact that in injury time on a brutally hot day, after playing a few days before, Freddy was able to make that great run, at full speed, make a move, and unleash a rocket of a shot is so impressive. I would think that this signals that Freddy is ready for 90. Well done, Freddy!
