Check out AmeriBlog. Currently, just have Adu's goal and nice run off the post. Will get DiR's and Watson's goals up tomorrow!
Having trouble, can't get any of the sites to even start a download. Thanks for all your hard work though blog.
blasted computer won't let me see it now, I'll have to wait until work tomorrow which highlight is better? the goal or running through 6 guys?
I know there is something inherently wrong about getting worked up over a 13 yr old kid, but this kid is silly... Yikes.....
WOW WOW WOW!! i just saw the clip of adu embarrassing SIX defenders..and all i can say is WOW.. utterly amazing..the balance to stay up when he first slips after getting ball..then the quickness to get past first two defenders..and then skill to beat next four..perfect shot..i dont know how it didnt go in..bottom of crossbar and bounces' out..AMAZING SKILL.. and by the way..thanks A LOT AMERIBLOG..you truly are a national hero..
the shot off the crossbar was something else, but all his highlights are. My friends are getting sick of me talking about him, but I just can't help myself....he's really good
Me too! Como mi papá usado para decir, "él pasó a través de ellos como un cuchillo caliente a través de la mantequilla."
Just saw the vids... This kid is scarry good! Creativity, skill, balance and still only 13 yrs. old. He's the real deal! God Bless America; the country built of immigrants!
i wonder how good his distrabution skills hare, he had a man open on the left when he missed that goal. incrediable stuff though
This kid really is something else. If he truly is 13 years old...Damn! Every highlight i've seen has been (i dont know...I'm speechless.) -Bike : The touch he had before setting up for that kick was incredible. So soft, with a man practically on top of him. -Beating 6 defenders : Incredible balance, skill, everything. However : two things 1. Everything seems to be with the left foot. He'll have to progress with the right before he steps up in competition. However, he will...He's only 13...and plus he's Freddie Adu(he can do anything) 2. Playing the ball to others. The assist he had in the first game was sweet. If he can continue to do things like that(sweet through balls onto an empty net), especially after beating 6 defenders...then he would be my new God. That simple. This kid is something special. This kid reflects America. He comes over from a poor country, and thrives here. I hope he gets mega bucks after his WC in August, and he can take care of his family. I love this country...A nation of many.
The player on his left was in offside position. There was also a player on his right, but here's no real advantage passing to that player. When Adu passed the last defender, he could only shoot since the player on his right was in offside position by then.
The goal was sweet, but a more experienced keeper would've/should've taken Freddy out on that play (and denied the goal). I think the keeper was kind of watching Freddy "in awe" of what he was doing. James
My fear is that he is not 13, but 15 or 16. I hope the coaches and brass have done their paperwork. He sure looks a lot more composed than the other kids on the field.
The US Fed has looked ad infinitum. Furthermore, Sports Illustrated looked INDEPENDENTLY of the US Fed. He really is 13.
Point: Yes, the Federation did their homework. So did Grant Wahl at SI. Freddy's 13. End of story. The 6 defender clip: Great Gosh A-mighty!
