Sierra Mist GOTW DeWayne DeRosArio's spectacular is leading by a wide margin, but stuffing the ballot box can't hurt. DC needs a 3-peat!

    Thx,

    Jay!

    I'm voting DeRosario. Brilliant.

Freddy's goal was historic, but not goal of the week material.

I am beyond this pathetic pandering. Call me a traitor. Call me a jaded old man. Call me cynical. [Call me "hardcore"?] Hell, call me Wanda. I have one scruple left.

translation for those lacking in comprehension abilities:

You would stuff the ballots for any other dc united player, but not for adu, becasue you want to show that you are hardcore soccer fans and freddy is just another player to you

I bleed United, but I can't justify voting for Freddy. Every goal scored this weekend was a higher quality than Freddy's except for maybe Taylor's second goal.

Well, that is better language...but I don't get your supposed point.

Freddy's goal was not as nice as DeRosario's. I guess I'm "hardcore." Cool, I've never been called that before. Usually, I'm the stiff yuppie as$hole. Thanks for the kind words.

it wasn't a compliment, you should try and pick up tone when you read.

the point is that for one reason or another you are harsher on freddy than you are on any other player on dc

The name on the front of the jersey is more important than the one on the back. We stuff for the TEAM, not for the player.

    Thx,

    Jay!

You are saying that I should pick up tone from your post above? What am I, a Jedi?

I am harsher on Freddy than any other player on DC, you say? Do you truly want to debate this with me? Do you know the things that I've said about Convey, Stewart, Kovalenko, Eski and a host of our current crop? Do you have any idea what I thought of Stoichkov? What is it that you want? I am fair in my criticism of Freddy. He's a pro, he can handle it. Why do you have trouble with it? This ain't a pom-pom party.

    Ahem.

I think you have that turned around here. By stuffing for this goal, you detract from the team.

    Cheers,
    Tim

P.S. Goodnight. Let's all get some rest and come back happy tomorrow. This is getting boring and tiring. I'm old.

These aren't the goals you're looking for.

You guys didn't have that attitude when you stuffed the poll for Cerritos last week, now did you? Ruiz's goal was much better and well placed, but you still voted for Cerritos. So that statement is a big hypocrisy.

You can't be for real. You've got to be a sockpuppet or mentally handicapped in some respect. I can't fathom how a human being older than seven would be as dense as you. I thought I had grown accustomed to your posts, but the series of them in this thread have shocked me. Wow.

Maybe because every thread is made in his honor there is nothing else to talk about?

I'd say Rimando and Warren have taken a fair tongue lashing this season, as well as Bobby.

There is no way anyone is going to beat DeRo for this competition, and rightfully so.

Voted for DeRo. There's no comparison between those two goals.

Adu's goal was nicely struck from a difficult position, but come on. DeRosario's bike is a possible goal of the year candidate.

As a futbol fan you have to appreciate that kind of a play, even if performed by another team.

Stuffing the ballot box only prooves that DCU has more on-line geek fans than any other MLS team. (Check out our post count on this board vrs. other teams!!!!!). :D
