Before the Fury goal Adu was invisible. After, he started providing some plays, but still disappeared. It was only after the red card, in the last 15 minutes, that Adu turned it on and became very dangerous.
I agree. It would have been nice if he showed up earlier when the only idea we had was to try cross after cross that kept getting blocked.

I guess it depends how much higher the next year's salary is. I definitely want him back from an on the field perspective. It's all down to Crazy Bill. Since he's a "one year plan" guy maybe he throws a tantrum when we don't win and declines the option.

Looks like they're trying him out there tonight. Here's how the Rowdies will start out tonight against @RailHawksFC, based out of a 4-4-1-1 pic.twitter.com/dNRF3ngztd— Rowdies Gameday (@RowdiesGameday) October 24, 2015
Freddy played great in his new role in a key win. Unfortunately he's surrounded by guys who can't finish. Highlights:
Freddy doing what he does @ 1:55 - 2:30 - as usual if he has better players those chances both end in goals
That's always been the case with him. And honestly. Any talented player would not be effective with bad teammates. Just look at Christian Pulisic at the U17 World Cup for example.
Maybe I just don't read the game the same way at the elite level, but he just looks like he's wobbling around until the ball comes to him. I think if he just looked more active like a workhorse off the ball, he might have a different career. It looked like he had the same issue at Philly, with regards to having people just blow chances left and right that he creates, which tells me one thing, he just needs to be selfish.
Hopefully good news about Freddy staying put? The Rowdies announced they declined options on 7 players, but Adu is not among them. http://www.rowdiessoccer.com/news/2015/11/05/rowdies-announce-first-wave-of-roster-moves
From having Pibe Valderrama as the creative genius in the midfield to Freddy Adu as the hope. The big man upstairs hates Tampa Bay soccer.
It sure feels like it sometimes. In an alternate universe, the Glazers weren't such dicks, bought the Mutiny, rebranded to the Rowdies in MLS 2.0 and are up there with the Sounders in support. But hey we won the 2012 Soccer Bowl! We'll do it the hard way.
Freddy is staying put with the Rowdies. Has an option to play here in 2017 as well. Here's hoping for a healthy and prosperous season!BREAKING: The Tampa Bay Rowdies have signed M @FreddyAdu to a new contract!READ MORE: https://t.co/ikXbgjuXzB pic.twitter.com/3Oa7MUUw3j— Tampa Bay Rowdies (@TampaBayRowdies) December 15, 2015
