I heard he was one of the leads of Oceans 12. Brad Pitt and George Clooney were calling him "old man". Hmmmm
Freddy is a grizzled, seasoned vet now If I recall, he has only played like 3 or 4 times for the U20s himself. By the younger guys I assume he means the latest bunch to graduate up from the U17 level. Ironically, most of these kids are probably older than he is ....
Now see you all have it wrong, Adu forced the breakup between Ashton and Demi, and he and Demi are thinking marriage and babies. I think this shows a lot of maturity on his part and quite honestly I am impressed. He has handled all of this attention, especially in the 2nd half of the season through our Championship run (God I love saying that) very well. So I'm not surprised by his comments whatsoever and I think he has earned the right to speak from that POV. ****
Sorta. Apparently they were missing most of the defenders they've had recently because they all left to go play NCAA games for their colleges. So they brought some U17s who'd never played with the U20s before in for that match to play defense. So the younger guys that Freddy needed to help calm down were probably only a year older than him, hehe.
He's saying some of the 18 and 19 year olds are younger than him? He is admitting his real age through a freudian slip. Has anyone thought to bone scan this "teenager?"
... moderator's note ... If you care to debate the topic of Freddy Adu's age then 1) you have to contend FIRST with EVERYTHING said in the 40 PAGES of the thread below, and 2) you have to debate it on that thread. How old is Freddy Adu? :: Official Thread :: Part I How old is Freddy Adu? :: Official Thread :: Part II Better yet, I'd suggest you drop this discussion altogether. And, no, I don't have a sense of humor about this. And, yes, I do in fact get laid.
I still don't see the part of the quote where he makes a comment about players being younger than him.
He doesn't really, just refers to some of the younger guys on the team being nervous at first. It's just a funny way for a 15-year-old to phrase something.
