By my count Adu needs to play on teams on 3 more continents before his World Tour is over.

Africa & Australia is all that's left right? His Turkish stop was in Asia I think.

What makes you think he'll be offered a contract at the Rowdies next season?

Of course it will. It always has, so why should it stop now?

Uh hey Moderators, this is Freddy, Freddy Adu. My Boi miklagard can vouche for me. I would like to keep this thread open. It cracks me up - especially all the egg sandwich posts. I know you guys understand. Thanks.

@bungadiri and @Friedel'sAccent I have bottles of Hennessy Black heading your way in appreciation.

First of all, Freddy, thank you for the alcohol. It makes me ever so handsome when I drink it. Secondly, could you please explain what the heck happened at Monaco, when...

    Oh, never mind.

Rongen is the man. I've been rooting for him ever since I saw the documentary chronicling his time with American Samoa's national team.

"Next goal wins" is a fantastic soccer documentary, just btw.

Not sure about that. Rize is in Asia, but Turkey is in UEFA.

    Just sayin';)

    Jesus, that's low.

Back in 2005 Freddy earning $2,500 a day in 2015 (circa $900k) would have been seen as serious under-delivery on his talent or serious injury setbacks.

$2.5k a month!! Unless he's flat broke or can't find anything to fill his days, why on earth is he doing it?

BTW: anyone want to open a book on him being released before the end of the season?

Sorry I misread it, but apparently it's $3,500 a month, not $2,500. Still not great but better.

Hopefully he turns it around and can earn more.
