Freddy Adu: I'd love to play for United
I thought you meant DC.
That's what I thought too
I hope he plays for both.
Here's what he really means:
"I would love to end up in England some day playing for Manchester United... [but Chelsea have offered me 4 times as much money, so I think I'll sign there]."
I thought it meant Leeds United.
I figured Colchester.
BAH! Curse my lack of knowledge on obscure soccer teams that are "United"
What is this talk about FREDDY?
I wouldn't doubt it one bit!
We'll just have to wait and see who's winning what when he turns 17 or so...
Hope he plays in MLS before going anywhere else.... even if it is for the DC Scum....
British... so, Celtic and Rangers are joining after all?
Actually I kind of doubt Adu made that mistake. He was likely misquoted. Later in the article, the writer himself refers to Birmingham City as a "British" club. Another case of "UK=Britain=England".
