Congrats to Taylor. He has a pretty good personality for television and he has been raising through the rank pretty quickly. Nice to see that he's continuing to be a prominent figure of American Soccer after a playing career that got cut off way to short.
Great news for Taylor and great news for U.S. soccer fans. Twellman's a natural. One of the great oddities of Revs history is how the franchise wasn't able to make more hay out of having Twellman as the face of the franchise. He was their Tom Brady, at least in terms of raw marketability. Anyway, after his head injury and his baffling World Cup oversight, it's nice to see good things happen for Taylor.
Interesting he tweeted that it would be too hard for him to be an assistant coach because of his concussions but the brights lights and camera on tv don't seem to be a problem. I guess he just hates the revs.
Well, Taylor does say what is on his mind. Loved what he said last night when asked on air who he was picking in the MLS Cup. He said that he hated both teams and he hoped it ended up a 0-0 draw. Then again, I liked Wynalda, and he was outspoken too...and look what happened to him.
Harkes...ESPN Soccer Analyst for life! He'll be Revs new asst. coach soon or maybe in the booth? Wouldn't that be nice! Congrats to TnT.
He was very solid with Philly this year. He is not going into the ESPN job with little to no experience like others ESPN has hired over the years.
Its great to see good things happen to Twellman. Harkes is awful and I like TT's candidness so I'm a big fan of this change.
