He has three of the five main aspects of coaching to potato. The three he has achieved: Absolve himself of all faults, Blame losses on things such as luck or other uncontrollable factors, and Come up with a ridiculous strategy for a win (ie Rimando as the sub for PKs when your back line is exhausted in extra time) . He still has to: Have an extended losing streak and Give us the Potato Meme.
Klinsmann does have a better command of the English language, though. Yallop only knew about 15 words, eight of them were: Not that I am making excuses, never do! two more Bad Luck
He was a YES man for Andi, so that's why I don't think Andi fired him. I think the league told him to get rid of the piece of shit. Maybe just maybe the league is fed up with Mr. Hauptman, took them long enough.....Hopefully the next step is getting us a new owner the cares about the team, not just one the cares about the bottom line...... #PleaseJustSellTheTeam or #ChivasUs
You WERE posting on Big Soccer while we were sitting at the bar! Caught! Although I admit, that was what we were talking about, so I guess it's fair.
You may have seen this story last year when the kid turned 17. http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/s...d-swearing-child-is-now-all-grown-up-picture/
Kid was a dead ringer for my youngest who is now 13. When I was in Holland I picked up the Feynoord Red and White jersey for him and we even re-created the photo…which I don't have. He kept smiling though so it lacked the sheer venom of the original.
I was wandering around the back of Big Soccer to try to find a picture and I stumbled on this: Apparently we never fixed the problem. We only made it worse.
Are you choking up at how lucky they are to share the pride and love of their club across 2 generations, father to son OR are you choking up because you are aware you will never have that feeling with your own club and children?
some days, my two passions, science and soccer, collide in simply magnificent ways... http://wtfevolution.tumblr.com/post/98310098812/so-i-made-some-carnivorous-mammals-uh-huh
A potato always lands on its eye? http://arizonaunited.com/frank-yallop-joins-united-as-head-coach-and-president-of-soccer-ops/
I finally clicked on that link.. "Death by potato?" Awesome… I guess universally Yallop was regarded as a nice guy but I never bought into his reign and saved my $ the last 2 years. If he is going to rebuild his reputation Arizona is a good place to do that. He was wrong about so many things and made a mess of the back line his first deal here which we are still paying for. In fact the only thing he seems to be correct about was Accam…so there's that.
