His defense the last Copa lib games was awful. The announcers were shitting in him. I don't know if Rueda using 3 in the back gave him more of a offensive role but he barely defended at all.

Fabra has proven that he isn't a player for the National team...

Maybe he was good in the Colombian league, maybe his time has passed as some giys have a great start to their careers and then suck...

Maybe he is good at club level when the league starts back up for Boca but for Colombia he's sucked...

On the second goal if Fabra hustles back to be positioned between his opponent and the goal he could've cleared the ball after it hits the post.

I'm not sure who thought of placing him as a defensive winger because he doesn't seem to have the physical prowess to come back as quickly as he attacks. As much as I have been negative about the guy he actually had a decent game last night. I would try him as a DFM.

The good news for Fabra is that he also scored a goal and looked pretty good going forward.
The bad news is he could have had a couple other goals but missed wide and shot one directly to the keeper.

Guy offensively is pretty good but has he gotten any better defensively? He was god awful at Copa America and couldn't track back when he made one of his runs. Maybe if he goes to Europe they will make him a winger if his defensive ability is still shit

I personally have not seen enough defensively to say that he has improved much, however with the way he has played offensively in our last friendly and of course at Boca it is plain to see that he can provide much more in attack than any other option at LB for Colombia.

Add in the chemistry he is developing with Cardona and Barrios (Both of which have a chance to start at least one of our games in a couple weeks) and I think he has a good chance to start at least one game (too).

Think it's a similar situation to what I see in the GK position. He's pretty much the best option we have other than Armero. I'm okay with him being called up and possibly starting.

IIsnt necessary to ask to boca supporters friends of someone....to know if player have perfoming well or not.......actually they are not parcial.

In social network is evident how boca fans love fabra and how they portested when silva benched him.......actually he is a very dangerous player.

that doesnt mean that he have improved his defensive problems....guillermo benched him after the clasico for that reason

ps: a lot of posters here watch argentienian football
