Do you think you could put a space in there so it says re-signs and not resigns? :p

    Re: fanchino resigns

They hired 2 new athletic staff postions to take care of less players!!....hmmm.

Let's hope that in the next few weeks..a deal that will bring in Ronaldo from Milan..Cannavaro from Real and Steven Gerrard from L'pool, materializes..quick!!!:D

can't let athletic training support go to waste!!!

And so many of us were worried that the Revs front office wasn't going to bring in any established players this season to replace Dempsey, Dorman, Noonan, et al. ;)

    We re-signed Joey????

Where can I get my MLS Cup tickets? ;)

Welcome back Joey. Not the most talented, but he bleeds our colors.

I for one am glad to see Joey back and to put to rest that crap in the MLS Rumor Blog. A lot of people are quick to dis Joey but he bleeds Rev colors and can always be counted on to give everything thing he's got. No question his skill level is being eclipsed by the every increasing quality of players coming into the League but he's an experienced leader will serve as a squad player who can play three positions. At worst he's a great depth option at three positions.

Good to see you back Joey

I think thats very likely the case. He knows he will now be well down the depth chart. We'll find out the facts when they update the MLS Union WEB Site with the 2008 salaries.

Exactly - OFF the bench or to cover for injuries/suspensions. No one should be celebrating his return as a sign that our starting 11 just got so much more stronger.

And the Fire, Red Balls, DC...pretty much the entire league hate him hehe.

I'm starting to like this feeling that everyone else hates New England sports teams:D

I apologize for doubting the Revs ability to make major signings.

Every team needs a bulldog, and he is Revs through-and-through...but he's getting older and the game isn't slowing down any. Plus he hasn't played in a good chunk of time.

Honestly, I think this sucks and as I stated earlier, he will just take playing time away from one of the rookies or reserve players that could actually benefit from time on the pitch

I'm fine with this. Let's hope he stays healthy. He's a nice little utility player. Should provide some much needed depth. i hope we move to a 4-4-2 this year so he can play left back.

    -------Twellman-Cristman----------
    ----Smith-------------Ralston------
    ----------Joseph--Big Red----------
    ---John-Heaps-Parkhurst-Albright---

Subs: Franchino, Flood, Wells, Igwe, Mansally uh?

And he counts as another US International on our squad!

He'll be one of the top 14, and that's all that'll see the field anyway. :)
