IM SO PROUD OF THIS FRENCH TEAM THERES ALOT OF chemistry with these guys i really feel good about this game won't be an easy game.... ALLEZ LES BLEUS!
With very warm temperatures in Donetsk , the team is wearing "ice vests" during intermissions during training. They are also planning to wear them at half-time of tomorrows match.
I'm expecting this to be a frustrating game . England's strategy is obvious and it wouldn' be the first time where France has struggled to break down a resilient defence . England will also be dangerous on the counter I really think an early goal is important
i honestly feel like we are on the same level as all the favorites (germany netherlands spain) allez les bleus, lets start well! l'angleterre n'est rien c'an
Worried about overconfidence. The press is bashing England, but they will still be a tough opponent in spite of their injuries and historically poor showing in international tourneys. Glad that Blanc is trying to play down some of the hype as well. Koscielny should start!! ALLEZ LES BLEUS.
my friend "FRANCE ARE ALWAYS OVERCONFIDENCE " thats our label ! blanc is going to fight fire with fire with england counter attacks we need alot of ball possession with that say with making space keep wellbeck offsides all the time is a good thing ALLEZ LES BLEUS !

Amen. I think Benz will come up big today since he does well against any English opposition (scored in the friendly a couple years ago and against Man U in the CL, also he is wearing #10 and the last time we played England in the Euros a certain #10 did some damage). I'm kinda glad neither Walker nor Richards are right back and instead it's Glen Johnson who will be defending Ribery. Oxlade-Chamberlain and Welbeck though are in some ways the type of offensive players who can trouble Mexes, but overall I would take our side over theirs, so I fully expect a win or a draw at worst, though I think if we actually score an early goal Blanc may go conservative considering the early weakness teams have in this tournament is inability to defend (i.e. Holland, Czech Republic), and the defense needs to prove itself. I think Lloris may also be motivated in a sense for the match considering some English papers gave the advantage in keeper to Joe Hart... (Hart's had a great season no doubt, though I still consider Lloris the more complete and consistent keeper)
Anyone who has a half decent season in the EPL is almost immediately hailed as the best in the world in their position, this is especially so if that player happens to be English. So Joe Hart after a good season is being hailed by English pundits as the best goalkeeper in the world, as if the likes of Casillas, Nuer, Buffon (and for that matter Valdes, Lloris) simply don't exist. Don't get me wrong, Hart is a fine shot stopper, but as for crosses, dear lord, in virtually every game he flaps at crosses like a blind man groping in a brothel, all of this is of course ignored and never commented on by the English media. Upfront France look very strong, and Malouda seems to be playing much better for France that he has done for Chelsea, Mexes worries me, especially against mobile forwards, but having said that Johnson can't defend to save his life and Terry is ripe to be torn apart by Benzema. Anyway, good luck and all the best, here's hoping for a 2-0 to France.
