    Hi,

I'm currently looking for a France 1998 World Cup Jersey (Home). I haven't been able to find one yet, either on this website or anywhere else.

Can you please assist me in my efforts to find one.

    Thanks very much in advance,

Le Coq Sportif released a limited edition version of the 1998 France home jersey last year. It comes pre-screened with number '10' on the back. We have a few large and extra large in stock right now, but we're nearly sold out of those. One those are gone, we aren't likely to carry any more. I'd encourage you to place your order soon if large or extra large will work for you.

That's not the actual 1998 jersey though.

I'm not looking for a retro jersey I'm afraid. I'm just looking for a replica of the jersey they wore in that WC. No number either - I already have my WC 2006 Zidane shirt hanging in the wardrobe!

Quite correct! This jersey is a 2006 limited edition version of the jersey worn in the 1998 World Cup. Le Coq Sportif released it in commemoration of the 1998 France soccer team, but the jersey itself isn't a 1998 jersey. They ended production of the 1998 jersey back in 1998. With the exception of items found in our Memorabilia department, everything we sell is brand new, officially licensed sports merchandise.

If you're looking for a France soccer jersey produced and worn in 1998, we would recommend contacting a reputable dealer that specializes in officially licensed sports collectibles and memorabilia.

We would love to be able to make a recommendation on where to get retired jerseys, but nearly everything we sell comes directly from the manufacturers. We're highly selective in choosing business partners because it's important that we're able to provide the quality you've come to expect. We might set up a partnership with a retired jersey specialist in the near future, but for now, your best bet is to check past posts or start a new posting related to retired-jersey dealers.

I've googled a lot in the past month a half using a large variety of words to try and find a decent site. It's what lead me here actually. I've had no joy I'm afraid.
