Half time between Fradi and Feyenoord Ferencvaros 1 Feyenoord 0 Töszer with the goal. If this continues, i sense a very sweet suprising victory. Fingers crossed.
Ferencvárosi TC - Feyenoord 1-1 (1-0) Fradi started the game with 3 strikers, played aggressively, but failed to create any really dangerous situation, while at the othe hand, the Dutch had one (and the only in this half) chance by Kalou. At the 25th min, Tőzsér fired a shot from 35 metres into the net! After that, Fradi created 1-2 dangerous situations, and dominated the match. Bayevski (our mac player) made a penalty, but reffie didn't judge it (later the 4th reffie said it was a sure penalty!!!) The Fradi started offensively the 2nd half, and missed 2 very good chances. We tried to push, but we payed for it. Kalou scored a great goal from a counterattack in the 65th min. The dutch dominated after the goal for 10 mins, but the Fradi took the initiative. Only Babos Gábor (who is hungarian) saved the dutch from the goal 2 times. It seemed, we could take the lead again, but failed to convert any chances. The dutch dominated the last mins, creating a really dangerous situation. All in all, we would have deserved a win, but got only draw. Though this point looks good for us. And gives hope for the future.
I think we ve got a chance of progressing. We should be able to beat Hearts, and then get a draw against either Basel or Schalke and that would leave us with 5 points which could definetely be good enough to qualify us.
We shall see...... Good luck against FC Basel next week. That would make for an interesting final match in Edinburgh
clips from Jambos v. Frerencvaros. Laszlo should really learn to speak better English. He's a fine coach though. Whayda go Fradi!! http://scotlandtoday.scottishtv.co.uk/content/default.asp?page=s1_1_1&newsid=6119
We saw. I must say im very bitter though. We missed a penalty against Basel in the 85th minute. Had we scored it, we would ve been qualified now...oh well, we remain the carriers of the Hungarian flag in Europe atleast.
