Ok team, here's your chance for some real input.

As some of you already know, FoxSportsWorld.com has now become part of the MSN network. And as some have pointed out, the site has been redesigned to be compatible with FOXSports.com, both for technical and business reasons. The site you see is an interim one, and we will relaunch before the Euro season with full functionality including scores, stats, league/team pages, etc.

That gives you a chance to tell us what you like; what you don't; and what you want. You BigSoccer Boyos are never shy so I expect the usual. As the person directly responsible for foxsportsworld.com on MSN, my goal is to build the best American soccer site - meaning the best site for FSW viewers and American-based fans of soccer. FSW is America's Soccer Channel and we aim to be America's soccer site. And I'm asking you to tell me what you want to see.

Last, a big thanks to all of you who visit foxsportsworld.com regularly. This has been a tremendous month of traffic for us. We've attained new traffic records thanks in good part to all of you at BigSoccer. We don't always reply, but we know you're here.

And while you're at it -- check out Euro Babes in Bikinis at http://msn.foxsports.com/photoGallery?contentId=2514582

What did you expect? We're FOX.

Yes plus video highlights of MLS Wrap, FSW Report and other studio programming- maybe as part of FOX's premium video package.

Also, how about more commentaries and reporting from the FSW personalities?

    Thanks for listening! :)

Return the weekly pdf television schedules to the old format. This one you are using now just stinks and is tough on the eyes.

Any maybe start offering some Fox Sports World merchandise. T-Shirts that has the FSW logo with the phrase under it "America's Soccer Channel." Would be good advertising for you and allow us to show our support for your channel.

So, when are you going to stop treating rugby like crap? and hey - when are we going to see European rugby (Six Nations/Heineken Cup/Zurich Premiership/Celtic League/T16), which is arguably the better brand of rugby right now.

As great as the Super 12 final was, the European Cup final, which was the next day, was even better. I can't believe FSW is dropping the ball on this, particularly since the European expatriate rugby market far outstrips the SH expatriate market.

FSI is no longer in the European Rugby business.

The only reason why Super 12 is live on FOX Sports World is because the Murdochs say so.

SKY UK has the rights to the European Cup and the Zurich Premiership.

    FSW Producer,

I would like to see live soccer scores, especially MLS scores, on Fox Sports Mobile MSN Mobile, or some other kind of WAP-based format. And in particular I would like to be able to know who scored the goals and at what time. Right now you can get the score and the time of the game from Yahoo, but not who scored and at what time the goal was scored. And you can't get the scorer and time of goals off Livescore.com's WAP service either, or the text alerts from Yahoo and MSN.

    Hope that makes sense.

I also wish the price of Fox Sports Mobile would come down but I doubt you control that. :)

Yeah, some FSW shirts would be sweet. White shirt with the blue FSW logo on it.
Bio pages with contact info for the FSW personalities.
Either live or archived MLS Wraps, FSW Reports, etc.

The ultimate would be a monthly fee (maybe $10) for live FSW on computer. EPL, MLS, etc. Everything on TV, on the computer.
Digital cable charges ~$7 for a package that includes FSW, and this way FSW would get all the $10, but it's probably not gonna happen. I can dream, can't I?

A live score page similar to the one at ESPN Soccernet, with an option to include/exclude scores of games yet to air on FSW or FSE. So for example, I don't have to avoid 99 scores just to avoid ruining the one airing on delay at the moment.

Include the Open Cup and A-League (and maybe the rest of the USL) on the score pages as well.

On the TV listings, include what competition the game is in for Brazilian games. For them it always seems to be "Brazillian soccer". That way if the games ever start airing before midnight again I'll know what I can consider watching.

Do you honestly think it'd be that hard to get rights? It's just one of Murdoch's toys buying the rights from another of Murdoch's toys.

Actually, Yes!!! Setanta Sport has kept itself going by acquiring various soccer and rugby properties and selling them to pubs and sometimes to your home PPV services.

The Murdochs are Australian. Hence FSI carries Super 12.

And honestly, some products are more popular in certain countries than in others. You'd be amazed what types of soccer Sky has BUT they have very few NFL games even though FOX does as many as 7 a week. Local tastes vary.

I don't buy this argument, and here's why.

    1. Setanta Sport has the rights, but they bid for this yearly. Fox Sports World SHOULD be able to get the rights if they want it.

    2. Whether or not the Murdochs are Australian means crap - if that was the case, we'd ONLY see Australian rugby. Yet we see New Zealand and South African rugby.

    3. Local tastes vary is a weak argument to me. The Six Nations are easily the most popular annual rugby tournament in the world. I bet the highest ratings Fox gets all year for rugby will have been the England internationals. It beggars belief that FSW won't show the cream of English and European club rugby, when the rugby in Europe this year was of a better quality than the Super 12 and right after ENGLAND - a European nation - won the World Cup.

Super 12 is South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. If the rights are cheap, FSW will also show internationals involving these nations.

FSW has no reason to bid against Setanta for anything. The price would become very high if a bidding war occurred and FSW will never sell enough ads or subscriptions for any product other than EPL to justify the price.

And as it is, ratings are not high for anything on FSW, as nothing really draws more than maybe 150,000 people, which is less than MLS on ESPN 2. So FSW really gains nothing by showing anything other than some EPL and MLS, except fees FSW Canada may pay them for German and French Leagues.

Better functionality of the TV schedule and the continued ability to sort by soccer only.
The old pdf schedules were better too as previously mentioned.

I think the site is dull.

How about a section of commentary from bobby, Jeremy and Michelle. the other can add too, but those are the ones that count for me.

    Scoreboard pages

    bios on the heads

Standings and stats from the leagues that FSW shows.

Preview articles of the games coming up on FSW.

I'm sure I could come up with more, but this is a start.

The headline feed has got to get better.

Today (Tuesday) there are still headlines from Sunday. It looks bad when you're talking about Lance Armstrong playing it safe in Stage 1.

I would like a better listing of Top News stories then what is on there now. Maybe 10-15 listed at a time rather then 4-5. I don't want to have to hunt to find the newest articles/stories. I second, or third, the request for more commentary. I like, or shall I say read, Wheelock's weeky column regularly, and I enjoy Webster's column from time to time. I'd like to see others. Of course, Bobby M would be my first choice to see more of. Since you are technically the same company, perhaps a story sharing agreement with SkySports.com would be a good idea. They have lots of good content on that site. Like someone else posted earlier, PLEASE bring back the old schedule format....the new one blows. Add additional schedules by league......EPL, MLS, Bundesligia. Make it easy for fans of different leagues to find their games.

Yeah they should make schedules by league and sports. I hated trying to find the FA Cup final on the new format. You should be able to click on the sport, then league and get TV listings for that particular interest.

TV Listings on the previous site were great....
Daily Programming updates if things change...
More commentary or chat sessions with the personalities would be cool..
More articles and previews of up and coming games in the EPL and around the world.
    Bios as well.
I think the site was good. I really liked it. I wished it got updated a little more, but I hope that will change in time.

Yeah...ditto for me on the whole schedule thing. I certainly miss the easy-to-sort sched that was right on the Home Page and I also agree that the pdf sched is now much harder to read.
I would also like to see huge improvements on the scoreboards. Live game boards like soccernet.com would be okay but why not something even better.
Overall, the look, as it stands right now, is a tad dull while the old version was pretty good.

Yeah, most of the articles that are on there now can be accessed through other sites because they are written by the AP. Someone mentioned that a daily Wheelock article would be good, and I'd have to agree. Maybe Allan Hopkins or Christian Miles could write a weekly soccer article as well and Matt Brown and Max Bretos could write Rugby ones for those fans. Chats with announcers are always fun too!

Fine... then can we have Harry Kewel, Alan Shearer, Joe Cole and James Beattie in tiny shorts please... The girls just don't do it for me.

And I'd like the reports to be kept current. Why go to your site when the fansites are updated faster and more accurately?

It'd also be nice if the site's features worked on browsers other than IE... Actually, I'd like it to work for me at all... good thing I'm patient.

I'd like to see a way to track news about favourite players, even if they aren't in the top flight. Or American... or not involved in American sports..

When you sign in, your listings should come up, with an option for change. Preferably accurately. Right now I have Monday up and nothing is listed for footie... odd as I watched the fantabulous Toby Charles doing the German Highlights and there was no mention of it. It would also be nice if the window scaled. It's too narrow. And the Ads are too wide. They're distracting and annoying.

I know it's late but you never know.
