Rumor has it that Metro Front Office is supplying drinks and/or food? True or False?

If true, do you have any details? Some friends I'm bringing have a capacity for drinking that MFO may be completely unprepared for.

So do we / can we/ should we bring extra beverages? Should we bring coolers on the bus to fit in the aisles?

Same goes for food - should we bring extra bags of chips / snacks / sandwiches etc?

Is anyone bringing a grill for tailgating?

And are there any rules for the bus trip?

    Details would be appreciated.

I assume livestock is not allowed for the trip?

MFO will bring Drinks, but keep in mind it's a round trip, so bring extra for yourself if you think you'll need it. Drink Metro beer on the way up, your beer on the way back. If you don't drink it, surely someone else will. On coolers, keep in mind we will have a full bus, so don't plan on chucking it on an empty seat. If you bring a cooler, make it a small one that can fit under a seat or in the overhead, unless you want to stow it under the bus for drinking in the lot at the game/ on the trip back.

MFO will stock the bus with snacks, but I think it's basically BYO food for stuff like sandwiches, and you are encouraged to bring sandwiches for all of us too. Hee. Grills are a little tough. If we only get there 45 minutes before the game, are you going to bust the grill out, cook, eat and pack it in 45 minutes? Up to you, I think. We could be there an hour early, or 10 minutes early.

Only rule is don't get arrested or left behind. There is a chubby Mass Ska chicks rule, but I wasn't on that trip so I'll leave that to others.

Since it's not a screaming eagles trip, No livestock.

    repost of earlier bus info/questions.

    1. I will bring 1 soccer ball for a kick around on Sat. Let me know if you want be to bring 2. We looked pretty ghetto at RFK last time with the ping pong ball, so, anyway.

    2. Does this bus have a vcr? I suppose it will, as the last one did. If so, does anyone want to have me bring anything like movies or soccer matches on tape. Not sure we want a rerun of "Street Trash" and Repo Man. I have a bunch of DVDs I can transfer, and matches from WC, Champions League (final) and others, plus a few quality old school VHS movies. (savage steve holland, anyone?)

Must be horrible to have a team so boring you have to go on threads of other teams just to post something. Back to the Rusty Pierce to Man United thread, please.

    mad props

Anyways - in case it hasn't been said, thank you to the ESC organizers and Metro front office for your efforts in setting this up.

It shows that some people care. Now lets all make sure the team knows that we care too.

I suggested to someone that I should rent the best of the Tom Green show, something with not too much plot, where we aren't bogged down trying to follow it. I'd be up for some Sopranos though:)

Or anything with Brianna Banks and Jenna Jameson.

Us Gringos will see to it that you're horns and drums will be firmly tucked up some Chapine ass......or in a side storage compartment that most travel buses have.

Is it exciting not to be on the short bus for once?

why are we boring? We lead the league in goals scored. You lead the league in red cards. May both traditions continue.

Wow, anyone in the house have a spine??? Anyone???

Its a joke, lighten up, then again, I almost forgot that BigSoccer is entirely for serious discussion and comparison of waxing eloquent.....And please note that there was a serious answer to your profound query within my post. There will be storage compartments if its like most travel buses. See you on Saturday, now doubt with your fists clenched........*rolls eyes*

You posted in a thread that had nothing to do with Revs fans, revs stadium, the revs team or even the game. It was a thread about a bus trip. And you have so little to do in your life (ergo), your team is so very boring that rather than post discussions there, you are on our thread making a rather weak jonestown joke circa 1978 about which probably half of BS isn't aware because they weren't born yet. Is there was really nothing else in your life going on that you had to stop by here and drop off that turd of a one liner? Supporting your team must be very boring.

please check out the Revs pages. They are full of Metro pupporters stopping by to say "hello" in their own way. And they are welcome there. A little banter on both sides strikes me as a perfectly legitimate and fun way to get ready for the big game. If only supporters post on the pages, why bother? That is called preaching to the choir. Lighten up and have fun.
