Just got on soccertv.com and it list's Saturday's game against the Mutts.. Good news for those worried about it not being televised anywhere.. The NY sports channel (MSG, FSNY) will most assuredly show the game as well, which in turn will be on both MLS.net and on The Direct Kick package..
Steve Zack announced at the banquet last night that the team reached an agreement with COMCAST to televize saturdays game.
It has to be on Comcast. Every time FSW has shown a game it has been because they have had a feed from Comcast.
it's on COMCAST's schedule for this saturday: http://midatlantic.comcastsportsnet.com/tv-listings.asp?date=&listdate=10/23/2004
Great news about the game on 10-23 being live on CSN. The return leg at RFK on the 30th is not listed on CSN's schedule. Prepare for the blackout indeed.
My email to her this morning said something very simliar. If I didn't have to take my dad to a Germany reunion/Oktoberfest and drink free steins of beer , I would be on that bus....oh well, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be around to enjoy United the rest of the season.
Goodness, I would, but I believe the match is past his bedtime, poor guy. He's one of the old military guys who could never get the early to bed early to rise thing out of his system.
They announced last night at the awards that comcast will be showing the game live on saturday, they had just worked out a deal with them.
CSN and Fox Sports World are both showing this weeks match, as well as the Direct Kick package.. Next week's game will not be on CSN, but will be on FSW and Direct Kick.. Hope that helps..
