Fox is getting their asses kicked by CNN in election ratings. This is their response.

Their viewers are deserting them in Roves.

Even Coultergeist is panning the GOP. McCain is a liberal! Regulations on corporate campaign payoffs are an infringement of free speech! Gads, Now that the mood of the country is turning back to Democracy, how will Fox survive in a culturally hostile environment? Well see!!!

I wouldn't be digging the grave yet for a network that still routinely outdraws all of its competition combined. Or the fact that in January (this January) they had... 8 of the top 10 shows on cable news I believe?

Honestly it reeks of a bit of desperation on the part of Fox's critics.

He appears to be hired only for Super Tuesday. So what? He knows his stuff, be it from a Rep/Bush POV. It would kinda be like MSNBC bringing on Edwards for Super Tuesday. Like Rove or not (and I do not), one day does not make a final judgement. Now, if Rove is brought on more than one day, then that is different story.

If Karl Rove ran in this race it would be a landslide election for The Architect! We are blessed to have him on Fox for his astute political commentary!

The saddest part about having FOX is that the viewers tend to accept the alternative as actually the source of truth while they all feed the same, just a different flavor and style in presentation.

Again with this idiotic "we." Don't dare presume speak for us, especially regarding that weak-chinned, round, dough-faced Rove with a spider's web for hair. His 50+1 strategy is quickly being relegated to the dustbin of history.

Rove was in charge nationally for the 2006 elections. How did those turn out? Oh, that's right. Democratic control of the Senate and the House.

Dan Cooper who helped to start Fox News has written on his website about Roger Ailes and how Fox News became what is it. He says,

"Lots of people have dissected the Fox News Channel for evidence of bias. They're all missing the point. Of course it's biased. As you read ahead, you'll understand that in a manner never before understood. This is the point: Fox News is about indoctrination, not bias. The indoctrination was always hidden, as it is in the best advertising. Roger Ailes spent much of his life running political campaigns. He was never a journalist, and in fact he despised journalists. Fox News is not journalism, it’s a political campaign."

I thought it was an interesting look at the thinking behind it all.

Okay, dogface, here's the thing. ITN is a troll and quite possibly a sock puppet. He's fake. He's trying to wind us up and distract us. He's not interested in honest debate or intelligent conversation. To him this is performance art or something. Threads in which people try to have actual conversations with him can get de-railed quickly.

So, most of us who have been here for a while simply ignore him the way you would a yippy dog.

Re: Fox News: Fair and Balanced

You sure about that? I don't recall Rove heading up any 2006 campaign beyond 2000 and 2004... Sweet Valerie's lies and charges in court removed Rove from much involvement in 2006 campaign/elections; that;s probably one reason several Republicans lost. The Architect took ownership of 2000 and 2004 presidential campaigns.

For someone who preaches ignore to others you certainly seem consistently infatuated.

Rove previews strategies against Clinton, Obama

I am glad Fox grabbed Karl Rove; this man is a god in terms of politics.

Rove wasn't investigated until 2007. Nice try.
