Intent: To create a multi-season fantasy league of EPL enthusiasts. The intent is to create a multi-season league with history and character. The members of the league will be integral to its success. Cups, derbys, rivalries, historical statistics and records will contribute to the atmosphere. The league will expand and contract over time. Clubs will be taken over by new owners, or will cease to exist.

What: 8-10 team draft head-to-head fantasy premier league.
When: Draft to take place week of August 6th.
What you need to do: Reply to this thread or PM me if you're interested in participating. Preference will be given to clubs/managers with fantasy experience, and to clubs/managers who can demonstrate an interest in helping to build a league with history and excitement. Founding clubs/managers will need to submit club name, home city, manager name, logo, stadium name, and tagline (i.e. "You'll never walk alone"). Additional flavor on the applicant clubs identity is preferred. More details to come.

    Thanks, lolshorts.

I would be interested, but we already have one set up that has 4 Leagues of 8 and has been going for a number of years now... you are welcome to join that of course. And bring along any new ideas you have, as I think it may need a spruce up ;)

This one is based on the Offical FPL game.. were you intending the same, or a different site/manual scoring etc?

I have just checked this out it looks pretty cool. Totally different format/scoring to what the All Rocks does and is not even involving FPL at all.

For all the MLS Fantasy guys out there (the one Top Shelf runs), it is similar to that so check it out.

Bump - we've filled 4 of 8 spots for the inaugural season. Please contact me if you have any questions, or if you're interested in applying for membership. Best, lolshorts.

I so hate this new Big Soccer forum. Replying to an individual post is hard (or should I say, impossible; unless you think Rep is reply) and sending PMs has been made more complicated.

What's start a conversation all about?

Anyway... if you're not using the FPL what is this one based on.

If there's a site that does it all better and this game doesn't require me to use Google Docs, then I may be interested.

Please post more details. A link wouldn't be a bad idea.

If it's based on bigtimesoccer.blogspot.com then I guess I'm going to give this one a miss.

    1) Google insists on changing URLs and language depending on my location.

    2) It all looks very manual.

    3) A 'two-hour time limit for a draft pick' is no fun if the e-mail comes in at two in the morning.

    4) I don't check my e-mail all day.

This could be a lot of fun for a group of friends drinking in the same pub but it doesn't beat http://fantasy.premierleague.com/

    :(

I have been looking for years for a league which conducted a draft for english premier league players. I have a friend base with a heavy soccer background so I could provide many players, just simply don't know how to get started. If anyone would like to offer me some assistance on how to set up a league with a live draft, it would be greatly appreciated, or if someone has some extra space and has yet to draft I would love to join.

    Thanks again.
