I strongly believe that if referees in MLS would start to give out red cards, the majority of the injuries to players would stop. It's getting out of hand, the petty retaliation, and intimidation at the midfield area should stop. We, the fans, pay money to see a good skill match. I know "soccer is a man's sport" is a mentality that still goes around, but if we get some refs who follow the intend to protect, that will stop.
