Good luck tonight against LA. As you all know my beloved DC United failed to make the playoffs so all I can do now is sit back and hope the teams I hate most suffer humiliating defeat. The MetroStars suffered the same sorry fate as DC United (but we won the Atlantic Cup!) so I can't root against them but I can root against Los Angeles and they're almost as bad. So my hopes are with you tonight. Forza Kansas! (I know the Kansas thing bothers some of you seeing as you don't play in Kansas but that's what Ray Hudson calls your team.) ... and, oh yeah, if you folks could bait Ruiz into getting a red card for diving, I'd really enjoy it.
Just wait until we get our stadium, then we'll be the Kansas Wizards. BTW, I'm totally annoyed with DCU. I was all excited to watch some exciting playoff action live an in person, and United craps out yet again. It's enough to make me question my decision of moving out here
I'm just annoyed, because I move to New York City (KC HOOLIGANS representing in Brooklyn!), and the Metrostars flipping crack up. I see two terrible games against United, one of which the Metros manage to lose, and, BOOM, they're out of the playoffs. My MLS season is effectively over. For any of you Mystics planning on going to MLS Cup, I'll probably be in attendence there, however, not to worry. And I'll be happy to pass on some of the tips on supporters clubs I garnered from spending one game standing with the Empire Supporters Club....haha...
