Alec, Which parts do you find horrid? It has the exact same layout as the MLS skins, but it's wider, and has additional features that weren't available there.
The gray is better than the white, but...look I know you can't please everyone, but I sometimes think you guys are a little too eager for change here. It seems to me that every 6-months you tweak something and it ends up making my experience slightly less enjoyable (for instance, why have my favourite teams disappeared? Why when I go in to put them back do I have to use a drop down menu? I just want to write them again -- I can't figure out how to have more than one team up and I don't really have the time to sort it out). The skins look, well, cheap to me. There is too much white space and the graphics look like something I'd see on Blogger. I've never figured out why you moved away from the old yellow skin... Are these complaints a bit petty? Probably, but I don't think I'm alone in having them. I just don't get how the tweaking improves the average reader’s enjoyment and I don't know what you accomplish by fiddling. People are creatures of habit. Change is not always welcome...or good.
