I was wondering if anyone here knew where the team was going to be practicing in Frt. Lauderdae in Mar. I am going to be there near the end of the week. Anyone know if any of it is open to the public? Thanks!
This is the training schedule info http://www.dcunited.com/index.cfm?section=games&cont_id=157127 You should call United and ask if these are open. K

Wednesday, February 12 to 20: Training at Hilton Sunrise Soccer Complex in Sunrise, FL I'm all over it. Doubt that they would be closed sessions, given that it's only pre-season training. Anyone else have any experience with this?
Well, the session this past Saturday at RFK was closed to the public. I believe the Hilton Complex is attached to the hotel (I think the owner bought the lot next door and built a field) so it might be open but worth making a call to confirm (call United). K
Sure, the practices are "closed" but I really don't think they care if one or two people show up. The US National Team practices at GMU before the Honduras Qualifyer were closed and Bruce Arena personally told me he was impressed that snuck into it. Of course, calling ahead never hurts either in your situation.
According to SoccerAmerica Confidential: "Matches: March 5 vs. Chicago Fire (Florida Atlantic Univ.). March 8 vs. Columbus Crew (Orange Bowl-Copa Carnaval). March 10 vs. Kansas City Wizards." ps-Thanks K! I lost sight of this thread, but I found your other thread.
I just found out I have to travel to Miami for work the week of March 5. Guess who's taking a drive up to FAU that evening?
