What about a Veracuz thread? I didnt see one doing a search, and there wasnt a link in the sticky.

They are at the top of their group and just beat Atlante 6-2. Cuauh has been playing really good.

They beat, Chivas and Pumas in their previous 2 games.

Their next game against Tigres may be a bigger test we will see how they do.

Flipping between Pumas vs. Tigres and Veracruz vs. Atlante, I tended to stay with Veracruz more especially during the onslaught of goals.

Anyone want to join the Bandwagon?!?

    7 victorias consecutivas, Veracruz 1 - 0 Toluca

Con anotación al minuto 5, de Gustavo Biscayzacú (pase de Cuauhtemoc BLanco) Los TIburones Rojos toman ventaja al terminar la primera parte de este encuentro. Disputado en un estadio totalmente Lleno.

    Nice hand action! :)

Nah, despite the controversial goal, Veracruz is still looking sharp.

And Cuauh is still a monster.

Now if only Kleber wasn't on the team.

Then they could probably score more goals, seeing as this guy's jinxed.

"A los 83 minutos Kléber aumentó el marcador e inclusive celebró al estilo Blanco, y el mismo negro tuvo la oportunidad de aumentar el marcador"

It shall be Interesting to see how Cuauh will play against America at Azteca. Will Lapuente i mean his titere Carillo know how to effectively shut him out, will Cuah play 110% and eliminate any posibilities las aguiluchas have of qualifying to the liguilla, and will he snap againt his former teamates !!! Should be a good game..

i should change the title to "Im gonna git you sucka".

As for the game, yes it should be good because with cuauh you never know what to expect, he could be delivering the goals to his wannabe, or scoring himself, or putting an elbow to someone and getting carded.

I've had the opportunity to watch a couple of San Lorenzo(Almagro) games over the past two years ,and I have to say this is 'the' guy for the job. He is the 'pieza clave' in San Lorenzo's attack that's why I'm so surprised they sold him but Hey money talks! right.. Anyway he is an excellent attacking mid or center forward ,I don't belive Tiburones will miss Cuasi with Romangnoli running things!
