USL Lexington has named their current women's head coach, Mac Hemmi, as their new men's head coach. Current women's assistant coach Kosuke Kimura has been promoted to women's head coach. https://www.uslchampionship.com/news_article/show/1351359
2003562675104895212 is not a valid tweet id oh boy! This is shocker. Can’t wait until KC comes to Denver. Two former MLS coaches now leading NWSL sides. Cushing with the leg up having spent most of career in the women’s game.
Calvin Harris is now at KC: https://www.sportingkc.com/news/sporting-kc-signs-free-agent-forward-calvin-harris ...and Olli Larraz is now at Vancouver: https://www.whitecapsfc.com/news/vwfc-sign-oliver-larraz
Michael Edwards signed a multi year deal with Oakland Roots on the USL-C. Good move for him and I expect him to do well.
Back in December Kosuke Kimura was named manager of Lexington Sporting Club of the Gainbridge (USL-W) Super League. Kosuke had been serving as an assistant but their women's manager moved over to manage the LSC's men's side in the USL Championship. Today, Kimura named his technical staff for the second half of the season and that staff included Shane O'Neill. Pretty cool to see two former Pids united as coaches. I also had a cool connection..... my brother is the USL Academy / MLS Next Director for Lexington Sporting Club.
