He may have played for MLS, but it isn't even referenced. So, has MLS arrived because ex-players are getting arrested on drug charges, or because we don't even get a mention?

I was thinking more in terms of the actions of former stars (??) Not listing his time in KC in that particular piece is actually a good thing. ;)

Lowe was a pretty good player in MLS.

With any luck, maybe his drug charges will be dropped and he can comeback to MLS to play again.

Better MLS dealing with a drug charge than the NBA with a rape charge.

Or the NFL with multiple murder charges.

    Or MLB with steroid charges.

Or the NHL with international and domestic assault charges.

To be honest, MLS has it easy over the flak the other leagues are taking for criminal charges.

That's sad news. He's a great player. I was sad to see him leave the Wizards.

I believe it was Diaz Arce, not Etcheverry.

I would say most Wizards fans weren't sad to see him leave. He had the ability to have a Damani Ralph type impact, but just rarely decided to use it. The only reason the Wizards may have been upset with his departure is that they weren't able to sell him to Rushden before the dispersal draft.

It was Diaz Arce, Gori and Etcheverry, but the charges were dropped when it was discovered that:

    1. Etcheverry was in Bolivia at the time, playing in a National Team match
    b. The guy IDed as Diaz Arce looked NOTHING like RDA
iii. As the female United fans will tell you, Gori didn't need to force his way into any woman's pants.

well... there was hristo accosting a female stadium employee at soldier field... and hristo again breaking the college kid's leg, i'm sure something will develop from that later down the road

i think the first was settled out of court or dismissed

what about big mama in denver after the n word was used? (or somethign like that, been awhile since that was brought up)

    anything else?

oh, and i thought the league did sell onandi to a team in england??

Didn't Lowe score against the US in the friendly in Kingston last year? A rocket of a free kick, as I recall.
