This thread is to keep up with our former CITY players and technical staff after their CITY careers. Though they have moved on, they are still part of the CITY extended family, and we respect and honor them for wearing the CITY Crest. Jared Stroud (2023), traded to DC United. Lucas Bartlett (2023), traded to DC United.
You could say that Lutz moved on Stroud, Bartlett and Gio at their peak value to this point in their careers. A small market team like St. Louis without a huge money owner, is always going to have to be very strategic in getting players in and out at the right times!
Michael Creek (2023) signed with USL side FC Tulsa Owen O'Malley (2023) signed with MLS Next PRO side Tacoma Defiance (Seattle Sounders affiliate) Max Schneider (2023) signed with USL side Indy Eleven
I hope he does well. But his decisions when playing for us were extremely poor. Always making the wrong pass or the wrong run. Teammates would literally scream at him.
Saint Louis is a small market team. However the owners the Taylor family are worth 10.7 billion dollars. So the owners have HUGE money.
NOT The Onion. Niko Gioacchini (2023), on loan with "flexibility" to extend to FC Cincinnati. Can confirm @PBrennanENQ report that #FCCincy is acquiring 24-year-old forward Nicholas Gioacchini on loan from Italian Serie A side Como (promoted this year from Serie B). The loan is through the end of the season, no purchase option, but flexibility to extend.— Laurel Pfahler (@LaurelPfahler) August 15, 2024

Not a player, but certainly worthy of mention. Bradley Carnell (Head Coach 2023-2024) to the Canada Men's National Team as an Assistant Coach.
