I just read about it too. I never saw him as a player. He was brought up from the youth teams, then he played for Mallorca for many years. I saw him as a coach though, he was coaching a couple of Greek clubs a couple of years ago. A very sympatic man. He passed away because of cancer I think, but I'm not 100% sure on that. R.I.P Ángel Pedraza.
Yaya scored his 4th (?) goal for MC today. In his more attacking position he's going to match his three year total at Barca in one EPL season.
Yup, I can only wish him the best. I will always remember Rome, how he played center back. I will remember Mestalla, how he tied that final against Bilbao with a drill from outside the box.
Crazy numbers. Reminds me of Maradona who by the age of 21 had scored 115 in 167 matches for Argentinos Jr's. And he wasn't even a striker.
Its surprising he only has 4 goals by the way he's played this year. The man is flourishing at Citeh and I'm glad for him. And if anyone has used him in FIFA 11, then you know just how good he is
good old R10 at practice in Brazil doing crazy stuff: http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/blog...w-312176&active_dimension=carousel_coke_today I too am happy for Yaya but pray that Alves does not join him (see Cruyff's column translated for scary details): http://www.totalbarca.com/2011/opin...ity-offer-true-if-so-goodbye-alves-thank-you/
Ronnie still got some magic left [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Bo6vpnHcuY&feature=player_embedded"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Bo6vpnHcuY&feature=player_embedded[/ame]
That's impressive. Still kind of wish he had somehow found his way to MLS before going home to Brazil.
Why not? Even though I don't like the Galaxy that was his likely destination and I'd get to see him play a couple times at least.
If its for that reason, I don't mind attending a galaxy game even though I extremely hate their supporters (mostly douchebags/futbol newbs) and the team itself.
Blackburn Rovers sign Rochina from Barça B. According to his wiki, he's also known as "The next Pedro Rodriguez".
^^^^Good sigining for them. Undisclosed fee? Hopefully they included some sort of buyback clause or kept a percentage of ownership. Depor signs former Barca B player Javito from Aris Salonica. You might remember he scored the goal in that victory over Atletico de Madrid-
Well well well... look who's back in La Liga for a loan spell. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/9383054.stm Too bad our games against Racing Santander this season are done.
lol yeah i saw that. Will he be playing LPB ?? dont know why im asking, not like any of us would know lol.
