Who would you select on Barcelona's Team of the Decade (2010s)?

Is it fairly straightforward or are there any debates at any position?

    GK: ter Stegen
    LB: Alba
    CB: Puyol
    CB: Pique
    RB: Dani Alves
    DM: Busquets
    LMF: Iniesta
    RMF: Xavi
    LW: Neymar
    CF: Suarez
    RW: Messi

    Maybe Valdes > ter Stagen?
    Or David Villa > Suarez?

That is perfect XI. Although i will add Mascherano here. Best of Puyol was from 2000 to 2010.
Villa was not as good as Suarez, honestly, this isnt even debatable.

Adama Traore with a goal and an assist today for Wolves vs ten men Man $hitty. :) The second team to ever do the double in a season vs a Pep team (the other: Chelsea, 2016-17).

Today, Vissel Kobe won the Emperor's Cup (Japan FA Cup) 2-0, their first final, and first win. David Villa goes out a champ. Don Andres, Vermaelen, and Samper win, too.

Very cool, still hoping Samper makes it back to Europe, understand the rest are cashing out late in their careers, big fish in a small pond so to speak, but Samper is still so young. 24 till January 20th, out of contract January 31st.

Also, this gives VK a spot in the group stage of the AFC Champions League, which begins next month.

And a shot of the club World Championship here in Qatar next year. Maybe a reunion with Xavi's Al-Sadd on the cards?

I have that 1899-1999 jersey still. I like it, but I know some don't... each to his own....

Hahaha, as you know it is the man in the 1999-2000 centenary jersey, wearing the captain's armband no less, who is drawing the reactions. [IMG]

That jersey is amazing and a classic.

I know you wont like to hear it but it has been 20 years since that transfer... time to move on. Figo was a great player for Barca. He should have been paid what he deserved. Its pathetic and childish to still hate the guy who was a professional. It is just a sport.

Phigo knew what he was getting himself into and, even today, understands that he has to live with his decision for the rest of his life.
Just because HE is Portuguese and YOU are Portuguese doesn't excuse the traitorous act he made during the Summer of 2000.
If you wish to speak lovingly about him, the Real Madrid forum is somewhere that way ------>
If you feel I'm being "pathetic and childish to still hate the guy", it's a badge I where proudly. :)
Now please phuck off. I did say "please".

I don’t know why you are bringing up the fact I am Portuguese like Figo. If a rival company of your employer offered you better terms and conditions , you wouldn’t switch?

It’s also racist to immediately dismiss my comments because of my heritage.
I also don’t appreciate being told to “phuck off”. I am a peaceful person and coach football and scout on my spare time but I have to work like everyone else to survive.

I will report you to the mods.

    Guess I am not
Welcome in this forum, and no I won’t be posting in Real Madrid’s anytime soon either .

Indeed, Phigo started a war through his selfish actions.

The only people who defend Phigo in this forum are either Portuguese or Real Madrid fans. And you don't post in the Madrid forum so...

It's not racist. It's fact. I don't see you going to the Tottenham forum and telling them how great a player Sol Campbell was.

I'll say it again... Phuck Off!
You claim to be a "peaceful person" yet you come here with, "I know you wont like to hear it but..." and try lecturing us to "move on". We had moved on before you came here. No one talks about Phigo because there's nothing about him worth mentioning.

That's fine. And I'll report you for trying to flame this forum with your trolling.

You and everyone else are welcome here but you know damn well that Phigo is a touchy subject that we don't like being reminded about. Nothing you say will change that.
Talk about Deco or Vitor Baia or Fernando Couto or Simao or Quaresma... hell, even Andre Gomes. But Traitor Phigo? You're smarter than that.
