Strangely enough, the closest team to St. Louis, Kansas City, is the one that doesn't have any of our former players, but I will give them credit for at least having a St. Louisan, Becky Sauerbrunn. Chicago also has an additional St. Louisan, Alyssa Mautz. I am still trying to remember if we ever actually added Nikki Washington to our roster before the team folded. Seems like we traded for her rights, but she was hurt and wasn't signed before the end. In any case, Nikki is with Portland.
Hopefully Rokagrl is rooting for KC or Chicago in this league. She needs to stick to her midwest roots. So is her honeymoon a travel to tonight's inaugural match in KC?
