(US that is) and anyone else willing to make the trip... It looks like Manure will be gracing Giants stadium on Aug 3. I was wondering if we should try to get a group of us to go to this one. Most likely the opposition will be a top European team so we should get on this early if we are to do this as a group.
Andy, I think this sounds like a plan. I went to the River Plate v Rangers match this past summer, and there were more Celtic fans than Rangers.
I don't know if I would go that far. There were a good number of Celtic supporters there tho. I think this match is going to be better supported than that one. Probably more along the lines of the really big game played at Giants Stadium this past summer (Real v Roma?). It sold about 70K and I didn't hear/see one add in English. The only reason I knew of that match was because of Spanish radio. That is why I want to get on this early(ok so now may be too early, but so what). I already saw this listed on the bottom line of the local new channel here. Ok, I think that meets my posting quota for the week.
