For all varsity footballers, have any of you scored a hat-trick for your school's squad?

I'm still waiting. Even though I'm a CAM I feel as though I can score a hat trick if I wanted to, but I'm too afraid of being bltched out by our coach for hot-dogging. I know I can burn these slow paced retarded defenders our school comes up against now and then and push up front, but I also don't want to f uc k over the forwards. I'm at a loss here. I want to be the goal scorer, but I also enjoy creating plays and feeding ammunition for our forwards at the same time.

The closest I came was when we played Pac Grove. Notched two goals. Both long range and botched at close range chance inside the box when a defensive MF cleared it before I could even touch it.

You're scared of being hounded by the coach for scoring a hat trick? I coach JV and if the kid gets a couple of goals, I'll want him to get that last one. If you get the hat trick, you've got nothing to worry about but if you mess up three easy chances, then you should worry.

Just do it. If the fowards complain, just tell them it's their own fault for not being open. I used to score goals from right back and when the fowards would complain, i would just tell them to get open.

If you can't do what your coach want...blow him in the locker room and he'll be happy from you.

NFZ, it's a wonder how you got a card with such witty, intelligent and insightful posts. Back on topic. What's the problem with you recording a hat trick? Is your coach going to get on you for being a ball hog? The only way I could see a coach doing that (based on experiences of my own as a player) would be if you were blatently showboating and taking stupid risks with the ball. As for me, if a got a hat trick, it would be a friggin' miracle, as I'm a GK. By the way, let me speak from experience and say that nothing (repeat NOTHING) will annoy your teammates more than you slighting them and taking the ball to the house, especially if you get rejected. Football is a team sport for a reason, tiger. Remember that and I'm sure you'll do just fine.

When I posted the above, NFZ was a yellow, and now I see that he was red'ed. Good job for quick action, mods.
