I'm listening to the radio, and the next song on is Flogging Molly's "Raise whats left of the flag for me". If you haven't heard it, its basically an Irish drinking song set to punk rock. What struck me about it was the refain. It has nothing to do with soccer, but yet it somehow does. Walk away me boys Walk away me boys By mornin', we'll be free Wipe the golden tear, From your mother dear. And raise whats left of the flag for me. The whole "raising whats left of the flag" sounds similar to our situation. Just wanted to make a suggestion for the S.C.'s..........
Yeah i am definatly up for a song that all the supporters groups can have in common. i hate sitting in the stadium and having all the clubs singing dif. songs. If anyone has any ideas for one song we can all have in common, share your ideas.
i think i remember hearing one sung by bb or se that was pretty good. something about Dc winning the cup.. mabey pass the lyrics to that onto the other groups to learn

I can definitely see a team coming out to that song, perhaps for the second half, with the crowd firing it up and waving flags and banners crazily!!! (mad drumming ensues)
It's one of my favorite songs. Flogging Molly's songs are mainly based on Irish jigs. You probably noticed the fiddle or whatever instrument that was and many of their other songs sound similar.
